Only had a few months with little use & now yesterday (26/10/20) started making strange noise & now nothing heats up in the microwave but the outside of the appliance is getting hot. Appears that an element has already failed after just a few months. Looks like I can not return it via Amazon as that window closed last month & trying to call them this morning via their site but keeps hanging up.
Update is that Amazon are sending me a replacement (only had a month to do so from the site) & so been without a microwave for a week. Also spoke to Toshiba who have suggested that it might have been the fan that failed & therefore no heat being directed internally. They have assured me that this is not a common occurrence with a new appliance & I hope that is so as the replacement will I believe be the same model.
