Baby sleep bags can help babies sleep better because, with no loose blankets or sheets to get tangled up in or kick off while they’re sleeping, they help little ones regulate their temperature when sleeping, so they are less likely to be disturbed by being too hot or too cold.

Safer sleep is better sleep and preventing babies from overheating is an important part of safer sleep. Our sleep bags are available in four different togs (warmth ratings) so that you can dress your baby safely for the room temperature:

3.5 Tog: ideal for cold winter months and for cold rooms below 14°C
2.5 Tog: suitable for use all year round and for room temperatures between 14-20°C
1.0 Tog: ideal for use in warmer months or in rooms with temperatures between 20-24°C.
0.2 Tog: ideal for heatwaves, hot weather and very warm rooms with temperatures above 24°C.

BEWARE The 6-18 nth is more Narrow at chest than 0-6mth

This product in 6/18mth size has faulty design.

I bought 0-6mth and loved it. When my son grew out I loved the idea of this but so disappointed. The chest is more narrow and therefore won’t risk keeping for when he’s older as it’s snug now.

My son is only 7mths old and in lower 25th percentile for weight/height therefore don’t understand how it would fit most 6-18mth comfortably.

Also hate the zip this makes it awkward to use.

V v disappointed!!!

Too narrow on chest

I wanted to like this sleeping bag so badly as I love the Ollie the Owl pattern, but sadly I feel disappointed in finding out that it is way too narrow on the chest.
My baby is just turned 6 months old and was born premature, which means his size resembles a 5 months old baby.
Despite this, the sleeping bag appears to be already too narrow on his chest and neck...
What a massive let down!
I must admit this sleeping bag is not worth the money due to a very wrong design.

I do love the design on this as we got an Olly the owl for christmas so the matching thing is cute. It's very snuggly and soft. The only downside is the arms are a bit of a pain to get in as they are arm holes rather than buttons that do up to get the arms in and that's a bit of a faff with a wriggly baby. Also it says up to 18 months but it's already pretty snug around the tummy/chest of my 9 month old and she is actually pretty small for her age so I'm not sure it's going to fit that well up to 18 months but we will see!

Very disappointed with this gro bag. I have always purchased gro bags and I have found them to be a great fit for my son. This was the total opposite. It was very tight fighting on his belly and under his arms. I ordered size 18-36 months. My son is only 2 and averge size and there is no way we'd get to 36 months with this. I returned it

I have the newborn version of this also and loved it so I bought this bigger version. I love the quality, softness and warmth! However, it is very small fitting. I have a daughter who is not big sizing at all but yet this is so tight on the chest. The newborn 0-6 months actually still fits her on the chest but getting too short. Where as this version is long but so tight. She won’t get much wear out of it sadly.

Beware toddlers unzipping in night!

We have always used grobags but now that the gro company is part of Tommie tippee thought we would give this a go.

First thing we noticed is that it zips from bottom to top, whereas all the grobags zipped top to bottom. This is marketed as a “feature” because you can also unzip from the bottom to change the nappy without taking it off, but you could do that with the original grobags too (and frankly do you really need to change most 1+yr olds in the night?).

Our 16 month old took only days to figure out how to unzip herself. So we turned it back to front so the zip was on her back, but again unlike the original grobags there is no popper securing the zip so when she tugs at the neck, the zip opens and she gets out. Hence night crying because she is cold and can’t get back in!

In other respects the bag is lovely - soft and comfortable and cute design. But sadly this clearly has not been properly tested on older toddlers which is really disappointing for an RRP of £40!

I love these gro bags as they're so safe and seem super comfortable for babies. I think these versions are a bit overpriced though. High street stores and supermarkets sell their own sleeping bags which are virtually the same but for a fraction of the price.

It’s a good size but my baby is tall and slim. I can see that it would be no use for a plump baby as so slim fit at the top. I think I’d prefer a side zip with poppers at the shoulders. So I like this but it’s not perfect.
