Uniquely designed in the iconic tommee tippee star, the thermometer is styled to fit with your nursery or bathroom decor. The thermometer is suitable for measuring the temperature of baby’s room and bath. For baby, the optimal room temperature is approximately 18˚C while the optimal temperature for baby’s bath is at body temperature, between 36.5˚C and 38˚C.

I returned my first one of these due to it not working. This replacement has been used 4 times and when it didn't work today I went to replace the battery and found the battery compartment was soaking wet and the battery was rusty and corroding the inner part of the thermometer. I'm disgusted that a seemingly trustworthy brand has possibly put a 7 week old baby at risk of bathing in water that would contain battery acid. Disappointed

Awful

I returned my first one of these due to it not working. This replacement has been used 4 times and when it didn't work today I went to replace the battery and found the battery compartment was soaking wet and the battery was rusty and corroding the inner part of the thermometer. I'm disgusted that a seemingly trustworthy brand has possibly put a 7 week old baby at risk of bathing in water that would contain battery acid. Disappointed

However after a few uses tapping to turn on became slapping it 4 or 5 times before it would work. Went to use it the other day and noticed rust around the battery compartment.
Looking inside the compartment had started rusting. Bought this in September for our Baby born in November. In 6months of use the product had failed. Completely unacceptable.

However, the things I don’t like is the fact you have to tap it on the bath to turn it on. Didn’t realise this at first and thought I had a duff one. I have had ones previously that just turn on when it hits the water which is a lot easier. The other issue for me is the display; it seems to be one of those lcd displays that you have to look at it at a certain angle to be able to see the reading which is annoying.
Like I said I do like it, but those couple of things bring it down for me, hence the 4 stars.
It’s accurate, but hard to read the display and not straightforward to turn on.

It is a good product, it seems pretty sturdy and it does give an accurate temperature. It’s made of a plastic and a kind of sturdy rubber matter material so there are no sharp edges which is good. And the accuracy of the temperature is good too.By MattyP on 17 May 2020

Faulty product!

This product its faulty. It does not accurately read the temperature and could have left my child seriously scolded. Very disappointed that I have raised this with tommee tippee and had no response+

If the temperature is above 38 degrees Celsius, there is a little red flashing light above the screen which blinks at you to warn you the temperature is too hot for baby, which is a nice safety feature.
If they could sort these few niggles out they would have a great product!
Good waterproof thermometer, with a few niggles

This thermometer is not bad. The first time I used it, I didn’t realise you had to ‘tap’ it to work. This is very temperamental and sometimes requires a good whack to get it working. It is a bit slow to react to temperature changes. The screen is an LCD screen, which means you can only read the temperature by being straight in front of it.By Saqib on 3 July 2022
