The jigsaw arrived the day after ordering but I was really surprised that the jigsaw box was not sealed. Having bought scores of jigsaws over the years, I was very aware of this. Usually the box is sealed with tape or wrapped in plastic. The bag inside the box which contained the jigsaw was a resealable freezer-type bag. Although seemingly in perfect condition I felt as if the jigsaw could have been used before.
I contacted Amazon and they said it was strange to receive a brand new jigsaw that was properly sealed so they replaced it and I returned the unused jigsaw.
The next day the replacement arrived and was exactly the same - neither box nor bag were properly sealed.
I completed the jigsaw today and there is a piece missing. So annoying. I really wish the manufacturer would have sealed the box in some way.
Nonetheless, I give the product 5 stars as it was such an enjoyable jigsaw to complete. A perfect gift for Agatha Christie fans. But take note that you almost feel as if you are completing an already used jigsaw.
