I have used this product for quite a few years now and found it to be an excellent product, the fish love it. It doesn’t cause green water at all.
I was enticed away once and purchased another pond stick which contained extra protein, it did give my fish a growth spurt, but I had a year of completely green water as the algae enjoyed the protein to, I was constantly filter cleaning and not seeing my fish, which to me seeing the fish is why I have a pond, the following year I went straight back to this product.
NOTE - I have seen some reviews complaining of the sticks going mushy after being in the pond for a while, this is the case with any pellet. Enough food should only be fed for the fish to finish within 5-10 minutes, anything left should be netted out to reduce the chances of bad bacteria. I have found these ponds sticks to remain bouyant and whole for this amount of time, unless eaten of course.

Feeding Tips
- Feed at least two or three times per day, as much as your fish can eat in a few minutes.
- Always remove any uneaten food.
- If you feed your fish regularly at the same time and place, they will become tame and quickly rise to the surface.
