I didn't buy these for myself. I bought them for my dad as a birthday gift. At this price you know that they aren't premium Taylor Made balls but anything with the Taylor Made name on them is going to be a good product. Apparently they do what they're supposed to. They go a long way and have a nice feel. The black line on them helps with lining up putts. They're a good ball for all levels of golfer. They're very good for beginners for two reasons. Firstly they go a good distance and beginners often need a bit of help in this department. Secondly they're not terribly expensive. You don't want to be spending a lot of money if you're still at a standard where you're losing several balls from errant shots.

These are probably the BEST distance golf balls I've ever tried. Due to their low compression they have a lovely feel unlike other distance balls which tend to feel like rocks. I am hitting them 10-15 yds further compared to the Titleist Velocity balls I had been using. They really are a brilliant balance between distance and feel.
Oh, they are also very durable, proving very difficult to cut up in normal play, I'd highly recommend them

I bought this same box last month and was really impressed with the quality for the price. I think I wven left a five star review. However this box the quality is significantly worse. I still have plenty of the previous box and the side by side comparison is ridiculous. Either the first box was too good, or the quality ranges dramatically every time but I personally believe they sent good quality to start with then switched out with rubbish once they started to sell.
