We bought this for my 2.5yr old son thinking it would be similar to the Screwball Scramble game but with cars which he loves.
Firstly, this is much smaller than the Tomy game which means it moves alot around when your trying to control it. You need to place it on a carpet or hold it.
Secondly, because of its smaller size the controls are a bit harder to use.. not massively, just a tad more fiddly.
Now the age range for this is 3+ if I remember rightly, so it's not really suitable for my son just yet. I would agree with this as there is zero hope of my 2.5yr old son managing to work the controls and hold it all still, my 5yr old daughter manages very easily though so at some point between those 2 ages is the sweet spot. My daughter thoroughly enjoys playing with this, it's something that she can do quietly on her own and as soon as my son has better concentration I know that he will love it too. Its a lovely little game.
