Supa Holiday Fish Food
Directions For Use
Place the Supa Holiday Fish Food Block in the aquarium. It will dissolve slowly releasing food particles and neutralise the aquarium water.
Feeding Guide:
As a guide one block placed in a 45 litres (10 gallons) aquarium should be sufficient to supplement the diet of 10 – 15 average aquarium fish for approximately 2 weeks. This assumes a water temperature in the range of 20°C – 25°C. Lower temperature or highly alkaline water will inhibit dissolution – higher temperature will accelerate it.

Water Change:
It is advisable to change approximately 10% of the aquarium water weekly and to circulate the water by a filtration or aeration system to assist dissolution of the block. The introduction of aquarium plants will provide an alternative source of food whilst you are away.
Warning:
Not suitable for Marine tanks.

We have a 39l tank with 5 cardinal tetras (small), 5 cherry barbs (small) and a plecostomus (med), for info.
I’ve given 3 stars because I will use this product again for short trips, but I wouldn’t trust one block for longer than a few days and strongly recommend asking a friend or relative to check in on your fish if you will be away for any longer than this.

We only tend to go away for a week and these are ideal for that length of time.
I usually pop the block into the aquarium a a day or so before I go away, so that it can begin to dissolve.
When we get back after a week away there are a few days left in the food block before it disappears completely.
So, on that basis I would be slightly more wary of relying solely on these if I was going to be away for a couple of weeks.
If I didn't put the block in until the day I actually departed then it might just about stretch to 14 days, but I wouldn't be confident of it not falling a day or two short.
I had 3 fish dead when I come back from holiday, has this product didn't releases the food, the fishes eat each other
