I have used this product for years and I’m very glad to see it is still being made, although the packaging has been updated. This is a *wash off* tan product. It comes as a thick, darkly stained, gel-like liquid which needs to be applied with a glove/mitt or a sponge of some sort as it is staining to the hands, however it washes off with soap and water. I use this mainly for my face all year round and I apply it instead of/in combination with a foundation. I apply it with a foundation brush in circular motions and it gives a tanned warm glow without blemish coverage, so more of a stain, but it looks natural because of that, and often it’s all I need to wake up some glow. You only need a very small amount of product as it goes a long way. I have dark skin so I use the darkest shade, but it is quite dark. In the summer I use this on my body, especially my legs and it looks really natural (and can pass at thin denier tanned tights) it doesn’t streak if you apply quickly in circular motions and it is not waterproof. It dries very quickly and completely, feels comfortable and does not transfer to clothes unless you apply it an area that’s likely to get sweaty. Note: do not use immediately after a moisturiser or it will roll into tiny balls on your skin, let your moisturiser absorb completely first and don’t use anything too greasy, use a high water content moisturiser. Quick and easy to use for a temporary summer glow. Years of use means I can recommend this product.

I found this instant tan very easy to apply. I am rubbish at all things self/gradual tanning and never get it right however this product has put a stop to that! You only need a small amount as it goes a long way. I only used it on my legs as my arms etc have a light natural tan anyway. When the liquid comes out it is very dark but this is good as you can actually see where you've put the tan - it's so easy. It took me no more than 5 mins to apply, check and dry. I wasn't left with the horrible stickiness of a fake or gradual tanning products. Plus I didn't stink. I kept the tan on for 24 hours and even splashed my legs with water (by accident) while cleaning the bathroom and it's didn't budge. I had a bath and exfoliated as I usually would and the tan came off no problem. I'm really happy I have found something that makes my legs look nice but is quick and easy at the same time. The biggest pluses for me were 1. No horrid smell 2. So easy to do 3. It dries within minutes so you can get on with your life instead of standing around like a chump for goodness knows how long.

Excellent for use on arms and legs. A little goes a long way so go easy with the amount to start with. Bit alarming as it initially looks so dark but it is quickly absorbed (as long as you don't use too much!!) and provides a good, even, natural coverage. Any slight smell soon disappears completely which is a big bonus as so many fake tans have a sharp smell that remains. On the face the coverage was even but any skin marks - freckles, blemishes etc were emphasised so I wasn't so keen on it for facial use. Needs quite a bit of work to remove from hands. Will definitely use on the body.

I bought this to give my legs a bit of colour for a wedding. The description gave me a false sense of confidence... it's not that easy to apply as it dries very quickly and started to ball as I was spreading it over my skin. During the wedding it rubbed off in some areas leaving lovely white patches and transferred onto my garden cushions when I had sat down several hours after applying, for around 30 minutes. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend :(

The best way to put this on is to use plastic gloves. It smooths on lovely with no streaks. I have been using this for years and was so happy I could now get it on amazon. Its the best I have ever used and at a good price and very quick delivery. Use only a little at a time as you go along as it goes a long way till you get your desired finish. Washes off very easy too, but lasts ages until you do. Gives you beautiful natural tan. I use medium matte as don't want it to glitter too much but still has a lovely sheen!
It's fairly dark so they do a lighter one for fair skin. Excellent product.

This is the only fake tan I can use, due to sensitity to the chemical in every fake tan. It is easy and quick to apply, I use washing up gloves! it can be applied to just the lower leg or everwhere - making it super-quick to add a subtle yet realistic tan to fit beneath your outfit. I love it. It does wash off, no scrubbing etc, just get in the shower as usual.

I use this product for over 15 years mainly on my legs but have in the past used on body and face. Application is best instead of, or well after, moisturising to avoid streaks. Always wash hands immediately and thoroughly after application as it will leave a red hue to your hands.
This does not have any resistance to water and can 'run' if in contact with water (ie. rain). It does rub onto clothes but this does not remove from skin and leave pale patches however it does stain clothes.
The sheen provides a natural glow to the skin and is not at all glittery, the colour is a realistic light golden tan on my skin and perfectly matches my natural tan on arms. Have recommended to a number of friends over the years, it is a firm favourite.
