Sunny Stays at the Shetland Hotel: From Shetland, with Love, Book 3 Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
New friendship is just a stay away....
Pippa has long felt like the odd one out in her family. Taking a job driving a mobile bakery van around Shetland's villages gives her a sense of freedom and purpose, but also makes her realise how much she wants to belong.
Natalia has recently returned to Lerwick, hoping to reconnect with an old flame. But she's engulfed by loss and rejection when she hears that he's moved on, and Natalia's world is turned upside down.
Autumn is dedicated to her job in hospitality and relishes her role as general manager of Lerwick Manor's new hotel. No guest request is too big or too small, but her own unrelentingly high standards could push Autumn to her limits.
Will the beauty of Shetland help these three women find the friendship, support and healing that they all need?

Any reader could enjoy this book as a standalone as there are reminders of past events so nothing important is missed but I urge you to read them in order to get the full experience of getting to know the interesting characters in the beautiful community setting in Shetland. This book concentrates on Pippa (a younger cousin who feela she is misjudged and has to fight with everyone, including behaving so rudely she won't answer people if they ask her a question)), Natalia who swans in with expectations that others are expected to go along with, and Autumn who ignores instructions from her bosses in her efforts to please customers. I found each of these characters irritating and unlikeable which proves what a terrific job the author has done to draw realistic characters. The events progress through a season, as usual, and I can't wait for the next (Christmas) book in the series.
I recommend you enjoy some time out reading this lovely community-based series.
The themes in this book were very real and identifiable to lots of people on many different levels. Learning to love yourself, sounds so simple but it can be the hardest thing to do. Seeing these characters grow and change gave me a warm glow and some hope; it’s ok to not be ok, but it’s important to recognise it, talk about it and then move forwards. Natalia and Autumn are wonderful examples of self awareness and self care.
Simply brilliant from start to finish and I really hope we get to visit again.
I’m so glad that Pippa featured strongly in the storyline, which was great. As well as the way in which Erin approached the fight and progress of one of the characters following illness.
A really fabulous continuation of the Shetland With Love series 💕📚
