A powerful and penetrating exploration of what separates great companies and great leaders from the rest
Reading Start With Why again reminded me why it's so important to keep our values at the heart of everything we do at Virgin, and everything I do outside of work too. I would recommend it to business leaders all over the world, and to anyone looking for a little bit of direction or inspiration in life -- Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group

In ancient Greece sophists did exactly what Sinek does, they would work on changing people's beliefs, similarly as religion does. Except they were so cynical that they would argue any point if you pay them.
Combined that with a beautiful face, perfect body language, just amazing acting and tsunami of manipulations.
Sinek himself not being scientist constantly uses science to build his credibility whereas had his "prayings" had anything to do with science it would have been enough just to reference one or more studies that he's refers instead of using this fancy para scientific language.
He also establishes his credibility by telling you stories whom he knows or for whom he worked for. Just laughable. Fame hungry actor that does not stand for any value except for celebrity status and attention.
But most vicious argument that he uses is that he positioned himself as an ideological defender of massive corporate structures that exploit people en masse but he justifies that exploitation. He wants you to have empathy for your CEO. No surprise when you take into account that most of Sinek customers are top people from big corporations that he charges $100k for a "leadership training".
All in all, the most important fact Simon Sinek is trying to point out is that the way something is communicated must be believed in, explained, and people accept it for themselves, because THEY believe in it. It is a very inspiring, enlightening and insightful book that I would recommend to anyone
