Comfortable and easy to adjust - very good value indeed

This Haadi skipping rope is much better than you'd think from the super low price (£2-99 at time of review).The plastic handles are fine with the wide diameter end section giving something extra to hold on to. It's works well to hold with these ends in the palms of the hand and fingers about half way down - this allows more wrist and finger control for speed and tricks (as if it were a longer handle). The handle plastic is also not too soft so will withstand hitting the floor and will not split quickly at the rope end (as happened with another of my ropes).The rope itself is made of quite a dense materiel (with a thin metal wire at the core). This gives it a bit of weight for more feedback which is great for improving my skipping. Of course it's not a weighted rope at all and doesn't aim to be that. Neither is it a super lightweight speed rope. It sits at a nice point on the weight scale. (You do need wire cutters (or the cutters on a pair of pliers to cut it.)The adjustment widgets secure well and are easy to adjust. The supplied measuring tape is a little unnecessary as you can measure the rope against your body for size (lot's of advice webpages and videos are out there for this), so it went in the sewing box.I'm quite a serious skipper with a number of more expensive ropes and I find myself using this one regularly. Very good value for money indeed. Great for beginners and beyond.
