The customer service from the seller 1stclassgifts was appalling. I bought two of these frames as a gift, so put photos in them, wrapped them up and watched the recipient open them with joy. Then they tried to stand them up which was impossible as the stand on the back had been fitted incorrectly. I carefully packaged up the frames and returned them but as I hadn't kept every last scrap of original cardboard packaging they refused to refund me. Absolutely useless product that was not fit for purpose and rude customer service refusing to solve the problem. Avoid.

Very impressed with the above photo frame. Not only can you display it both horizontally or vertical but it also has a metal clip on the back for attaching to a wall. The quality of both the frame and backing is excellent and shows off a family portrait taken in the late 1800s. very well. Very classy and would highly recommend.

These photo frames ooze quality and wouldn't look out of place on the mantelpiece of any stately home. The material covering the back of each frame has a lovely velvety feel to it while the polished steel front gives it that built to last appearance. Fitting a photo into the frame takes just a few seconds and the real glass causes no distortion to the photo inside. The frames can be either wall mounted or free standing.

The flap on the back to stand this frame up needed to be flapped outwards, obviously. It was a bit stiff and rather than swinging out, it parted company with the back. The 'hinge' still doesn't work . Returned forthwith, awaiting refund. Replaced with a different product - not trying this product / supplier again, attractive as the item looks.

Ok , I really did not expect much, it said exactly what it is …plastic. Now if you don’t read the fine print you’d might have thought..nice metal, shiny silver colour but it may be shiny but it is plastic. . .the stand in the back didn’t spread like you would expect. I had to actually bend the cardboard inside the velvet fabric of the stand to make the photo stand up. Wouldn’t buy again. As my son would say buy cheap, buy twice. I noticed the price has gone up since I bought it, so grateful for that!

Having read mixed reviews I decided to order one frame and see what the result was. I have to say that I was so pleased with the product when I received it, I immediately ordered another 6 frames. I think the confusion lies when you try other sellers with similar products selling it at a few pence cheaper that you get what you did not order. Stick with this seller and you will be Happy like I was. I needed it for pictures I had done for Christmas presents, wanted a nice nice frame, and that is what I got.
