Nice car seat with cheap straps. Not recommended

We always trust Silver Cross products but this time we are so disappointed. The balance i size car seat is a nice car seat BUT with so cheap and thin straps. Every time we fix them, always ends like on the photo, twisted.During a car incident we had, the straps didn’t work properly. So, we got in touch with customer service and they just said it’s our fault, we need to fasten them tighter and tighter. We explained them that we already have in use 3 toddlers’ and 2 infants’ car seats from other companies and we never had such issues, always follow the instructions for the safest use we can have. But, we place in there kids and not dolls, meaning that a child, especially 3.5 yo is moving during the use. So, these straps are too thin to stay in place and twisted making the car seat less safe. Unfortunately, they didn’t provide any other help or care, so we are in the procedure to replace it asap loosing so much money in so little time.I can recommend Silver Cross pram, stroller, furniture, clothes, accessories BUT NOT that car seat or other car seat with that cheap and thin straps.
