I've heard great things about this book and eagerly bought the Kindle version. Sadly, the formatting is all over the place and it's riddled with odd typos, making it hard to read.
Although it's got a publication date of 2022, this is the original 1977 version. This is fine, but I was expecting some sort of forward and updated intro given the 2022 publication date. I returned the ebook and plan to look for a paperback copy elsewhere or find it on Audible.

Had that book years ago, lost now I re-bought. I wish everyone used that method. Did when I was 18, works like a charm. It’s the best book so far giving such info. The method used here was practised on me by an experienced person, as a guide, just like the book states, and indeed takes just a few ‘tries’ to become experienced, instead of doing it alone which takes much longer even months depending on personal level (I was told that by my ‘guide’ as well).

Excellent book recommended already. Just got to work through exercises of this proven method which book does not hide away that it takes time. Price a bit high to be honest seen it for quarter of the price elsewhere so surprised at that, why but it from Amazon? I hear you say well just for prime protection if not delivered I suppose. . . Amazon make this cheaper and it would get 5 stars

A good basic introduction and an interesting bio of Silva. I read this because I was unable to do the online meditation course due to the inescapable binaural beats which my ears and particular brain wiring don't like. I have a condition where I can't filter out background sounds very well, so the noises become highly irritating and I can't focus, which is the opposite of what is needed. Anyway, I got the basic idea from the book about certain techniques used, so it was good from that angle, though as a meditation discipline it seems quite long and drawn out way to achieve things. Counting down from 100 is really unnecessary, though if you have trouble sleeping this will help!
