Received this cot bed duvet today ready for my daughter this weekend as we are converting her cot to the cot bed. Extremely disappointed with this item!! As instructed I put it through a wash at 40 on a gentle cycle before first use, and two of the corners stitching has undone!! (see photos attached) The finish quality is clearly very poor, I would have thought that as this item is sold for the use by young children it would be much better quality!

Very poor finishing on the stitching. The overlocking has not been cut and there are threads hanging from the corners. The threads came undone after the first wash!! I read few comments previously about the stitching but chose to favour the positive ones instead. Also, there is NO PILLOW.

The duvet itself has been really nice and my toddler loves it. However, I washed it before using it and followed instructions only to find the seems in all 4 corners have come undone. I ordered a replacement and sewed these corners deciding having 2 duvets would probably be best.

I was surprised that the second duvet looked as though the corners again hadn’t been finished off. I tied the strings together before washing and it went through fine. Disappointed in the quality with that respect but have had no troubles since fixing them.

Once I opened the pack and was feeling the material, I felt 1 tiny stone or something hard within the polyester filling!! On further inspection I felt 2 more! Totally unacceptable for a child's duvet....
Didn't bother cutting it open to see what these things were. Returned immediately.
