I bought this for use in a night vision camera (also purchased off Amazon and very impressive).
32GB will be fine for something that is going to be reviewed on a fairly regular basis. It simply does not need more capacity.

Class 10 means it will not cause any pauses in taking shots or video.
This is why the class rating and transfer speeds are important. The higher the numbers the better in basic terms.
When you take a picture on a digital camera (or your phone in certain scenarios) it has to store that image on the card before it is ready to take another picture or video.
Super quick cards, class 10 and above shift that information almost instantly meaning there is no delay.

If you want to know more about this, go read up, ideally at bedtime as it is not the most engaging subject!

Why San Disk?
Others may argue this statement, but I find their cards (and USB sticks) to be top quality. I don't recall ever having one of their products fail (unlike a couple of other manufacturers).

In short, this is a superb card for a low price. Yes you can buy cheaper cards, but I won't!

Check write speeds

I bought this for my Nikon D7500, having a couple of other 128GB SanDisk cards already.

The camera buffer pretty much fills up at the same rate regardless of which card I use. Between this and a 170mb/s Extreme Pro there's very little difference. That's because both WRITE at roughly 90mb/s.

As a memory card I've never had any problems with SanDisk and they tend to be able to operate at the speed quoted. Just remember that this is the READ speed on the front. Sure I can get my images off the camera quicker, but you'd need a USB3.0 card reader to notice the difference. That makes this every bit as good for recording as cards twice the price.

Stopped working (twice)

The first one of these I received stopped working within about 2-3 weeks of having it. Amazon replaced it very efficiently, but then the replacement did the same after another few weeks.
I can only presume these came from a faulty batch or something but it's not very good.
I was using these in a photo frame (I did wonder whether they were overheating or something but they don't appear to get hot in the frame and I've never had any issues with any other cards in it) but if I'd been using them in my camera I could easily have lost irreplaceable photos if it had happened whilst on a trip or a holiday.

I was dismayed to buy sandisk cards from another seller- "newer faster version" which were not reliable and slow. STRONGLY advise you to avoid this item as it DOES NOT WORK!! I know, I bought 2 of them and NEITHER ONE WORKS. I've never had problems with any SanDisk product before so I have no axe to grind with the brand, indeed up until now, this was my go to brand. Perhaps as with many brand leaders, the company has become complacent and the quality of their product has started to decline.

I love that SD cards and Compact Flash cards are fairly low priced these days, no longer do you need to worry about uploading your photo files to an external hard drive whilst you are away anywhere, you just take a load of camera cards with you.

I only ever buy SanDisk cards and as yet they have never let me down. They record fast enough, and I've never had one corrupt as yet.

This SD card has recorded several photos and still remains good, it wasn't a bad price either.

Perfect for my A7iii. I prefer to use a bigger size like 128gb so that I can leave my camera on burst mode and get a better chance of in focus photos of my young son. Havent had any issues with these what so ever, think this was the 12th I've bought. i tend to just buy a new one when its full and use them as a backup for my orgionals in addition to icloud.
