I'd been looking for a lightweight hoover for quite a while, something to replace my Henry with as I have a spinal injury and hoovering for me over the years has been an excruciatingly painful experience!
A lot of other affordable ones I'd looked at seemed to have reviews stating that they were great for a light clean but could not replace their main hoover, until I found this one.
Samsung is obviously a great brand and for me I have a few Samsung branded products as they are good quality and last, so I was intrigued when I found out that they did vacuum cleaners.
I found a lot of good reviews from buyers and experts including Which, stating that it is powerful enough to be a main hoover and great on cat fur, so after finding it on a great deal on here, I finally splurged and I haven't been disappointed so far.
It looks and feels like a good quality item. I like the way the pieces click into each other rather than just pushing them on.
It doesn't necessarily feel like it's got the greatest suction, but when you look in the tank, it's then full of cat fur, so it's definitely doing its job, however the only negative I found in both my own use of it and in reviews is that it isn't the best on picking up hard things from wooden floors like cat litter or cereal, it definitely works better on carpet.
It's nice and lightweight, the lightest I'd found of all the ones I was comparing including Shark, Hoover and Vax.
As I live in rented accommodation I can't attach the main charging unit to the wall which is a bit of a pain, as when it is desktop based, it does not feel like the battery is in the unit securely and looks a bit of a bulky mess, but it does the job and seems to charge fairly quickly.
Too early days to comment on the actual battery life, but as we only have a few rooms of the house that are carpeted, as oppose to the whole house, I'm currently finding that I can hoover these rooms around 3 or 4 times before it needs recharging.
Fingers crossed the battery lasts as I have had issues with cordless products in the past with the battery's no longer fully charging after a couple of years. Only time will tell! But I'm happy with it so far and have recommended it to my sister's who need new hoover's.
