Directions of use

Shake well before use. Start engine and set A/C into internal circulation at full power. Open all vents.
Ensure all seats are at upright position
Place can behind the front passenger seat
Close the door and make sure all windows are also closed
Wait 10 minutes until the can is empty. Then switch off the A/C system and engine
Open all doors and windows to ventilate the vehicle

Useless Air Con cleaner that only leaves a fragrance

This aerosol ‘bomb’ doesn’t work.

2 weeks later the damp musky smells are back. The strong fragrance was just masking them, not killing bacteria. The product claims to kill bacteria but in my experience it doesn’t. I therefore cannot see any reason for buying one.

I will use a Holt a/c cleaner aerosol next time. I have used them before and they DO work well giving lasting relief from damp a/c smells, plus the fragrance isn’t over powering.

Shop elsewhere.

I have used this air con cleaner months ago and, although it did manage to get rid of the unhealthy mold smell coming out of my aircon, the smell of the cleaner just won't go away! It has been months, at least 4 months but maybe more, and I can still smell this horrible aircon cleaner every time I switch my aircon on. Awful product which should be avoided. There are similar products in other brands which I will try in the future.

Easy to use , but....

Ok, i was sceptical about it and i was right.
When it arrived I used it straight away.
All done as instructions said.
When i turned on my a/c i had mild smell of muld/dump... After i used this "cleaner" for a week after use i had overwhelming scent of bleach. So i used my heater and a/c only with opened windows, what didn't make any point in heating, cooling down. It was only for getting rid of that overwhelming scent.
Yes, that muld/dump disappeared for a while it was strong smell of bleach...
Even after couple weeks after use , scent of bleach didn't disappeared and muld/dump smell coming back , not same , but coming back....
In conclusion i would say that this spray just made overwhelming scent for a couple weeks and did absolutely nothing for getting rid of initial problem . I strongly believe that soon as that bleach smell will be gone , that muld/dump smell will come back in full.
Waste of money - wouldn't buy it again

Dissinfect and gives nice scent to the car

I used this product in the last three years. I noticed that my AC got stinky and had checked how I could disinfect the ducting. I found this and gave it a try, and I was amazed. The car was full of nice scent and the nasty stink had gone. It's actually too strong after the treatment, but a quick drive with fully open windows makes the thing acceptable. I can feel the scent every time, when I switch on the AC for about a month time. Just bear in mind, that the scent is very strong after the treatment and the car may need quick ventilation every time in the first few days. It depends of your taste - I personally don't mind it. I god another product from well known brand in UK, but the scent didn't last more than a week, plus the first spray failed, but Halfords was good enough to replaced it with another. No problems with this at all - the spray was successfully discharged everytime when I used it ( approximately 10 used till now).

Very easy to use.
I've marked it as 4 star overall as I cant say how effective it is against bacteria within air con system.
It's very simple to use. You need to follow the canisters instructions and time it.
The smell afterwards was rather heavy , and reminded me of a Male deodorant to be honest, but is fresh and pleasant. I would not wish , or reccomend sitting in the vehicle immediately as you need to let some air flow around and not inhale the product.
Great value , currently on a promo.
Would certainly buy this again, process took under 20 mins and no tools or messing with air filters/ behind glove boxes needed.

Long lasting freshness

I used this after changing out the cabin filter which hadn't been replaced for 2-3 years and was giving an unpleasant odour. I then used this deodoriser and was very pleased with the results. The car smelled fresh for at least a couple if weeks before the pleasant scent wore off. No more bad smells afterwards, which is probably more to do with changing the cabin filter.

I've seen a few negative reviews and I can only guess that their cabin/pollen filter was also in need of replacement. This deodoriser can't be expected to fix that problem.

I'll use one of these again in 12 month's time.

This product does exactly what is intended of it. It’s simple to use and the whole process will be finished quickly. The scent/fumes that this air con cleaner produces are powerful and I was coughing in the car after using it (I aired the car to a reasonable degree post spray). Therefore, I would recommend that you use this on a breezy dry day, in the morning, so that when you are driving you can have the windows open allowing the car to air at a greater rate throughout the day.
Please remember that a product like this is for air con maintenance and not a fix for an air con system that could need parts replacing due to it working insufficiently or producing a bad smell due to an already developed bacteria build up within the system itself.
Pros: Does the job.
Cons: Powerful after scent/fumes.

This was easy to use but smelled unusual.
It's not terrible but my car does now smell like a teenage school disco.
It reminds me of Lynx Africa and it's very strong.
But it seems to have done the trick and the aircon no longer smells like feet!
