**THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER**
A hilarious collection of Hercule Van Wolfwinkle's 'extremely realistic' pet portraits. Warning: may not be suitable for anyone who actually likes animals or has the ability to see.
Not only does Hercule's unusual talent shine through on every page, each portrait is captioned with a review written by its bewildered recipient:
"Tell ya what mate, why don’t you get back to me when you’ve drawn a picture of my actual dog"
"It gets worse and worse the more your eyes scan down the page. Which is really quite the achievement given how bad her face looks"
"We really miss Marley. If I ever think I might be forgetting what he looked like, I can gaze at your portrait and know it was nothing like that."

–‘I’ve had to open my mum’s Christmas present to help me get over this. I’m covered in tears, Ferrero Rocher wrappers and shame.’

Hercule is awesome and has raised so much money and awareness for Turning Tides
So much time and skill has gone into creating this book.
The paper quality is wonderful.
The fonts have been chosen well.
The cover and construction of the book itself is peerless.
As a physical book - this is top quality.
But what can I say about the content?
There are words that could describe the drawings but I don't like to use bad language and I shy away from negativity.
Suffice it to say that the book is a neat and small enough size to be easily hidden to prevent it falling into the hands of hose who may not have strong sensibilities.
An ideal gift for someone you may wish to send a not so subtle message that causes them to cease and desist from further unwelcome interactions without having to resort to unpleasant conversations. Just send them this and I am sure you will never hear from them again.
They are rubbish pet portraits as it says, but well worth a look and the customer reviews are priceless.
And then you read the background to how the book came into being, how much money the guy has selflessly raised (during a global pandemic too) and how much joy it's brought to his thousands of followers on social media. It's just an all round feel-good story.
Do yourself a favour and just buy a copy
