I am a mosquitos dream! They love my blood and I normally get bitten alive - some of my bites end up with hard two inch red circles around them and can turn into bites with puss. Absolutely horrible. I used Pyramid Trek in France this year where the mossies are quite bad at night. At first I was still getting a few bites and realised they were around during the day as well so from then on I put an application on in the morning and then at sunset. It really really works. You do need to be really thorough on application though. I missed a few places and did get bites there but it was no where near the normal bitage level! It's greasy to put on but actually if you give it 15 mins or so it is absorbed into your skin and not greasy at all. I bought the deer 30 one for my children which was also great - didn't sting and they were really happy to use it. I bought 2xdeet 30 and 2xdeet 50 which lasted 4 adults and 2 children for a 3 week holiday with half a bottle left over.

Don't wear leather sandals and spray this on your feet unless you want leather to be a new fusion with your skin. Also don't spray then sit on a leather sofa unless you want to stay in that position permanently. Keeps the bloody mosquitos away though, and the majority of your friends. Kept me alive in Zambia after passing out outside of my hut after a heavy night on the local brew.

I was past caring whether I smelt awful to my fellow travelers but it was virtually odourless and worked to perfection. Two weeks later and holiday over NOT ONE BITE. Woohoo best ever (for me anyway). Wouldn’t buy anything else now.

Having been bitten rather severely by clegs (horseflies) and midgies at home, mosquitos abroad, investigating on line and reading user's reviews I decided to purchase this. I do not find it greasy at all. It does not come out as a fine spray instead it comes out as a dollop of liquid which allows you to spread it evenly over arms, legs etc, and a small amount goes a long way. I applied it outside as I do know that this product is lethal if dropped on furniture. Read the instructions carefully as it is advised to wash hands after use in case it is spread to food by mistake. I have only used it once since purchasing so haven't had it long enough to review it as a deterrent but hopefully these blasted insects will now leave me alone.

I also have spent quite a bit of money on plants which are supposed to deter midgies, so far I have planted in my garden lavender and marigolds, I'm awaiting citronella grass to come in to the garden centre, my next stop is the chemist to purchase vitamin B1.

Unlike many other brands I have tried this one actually WORKS. Went back to same hotel in Spain that we visited last year. On that occasion I was bitten alot, even after using several other sprays and lotions. This time NO BITES AT ALL. My wife was bitten but after changing to the Pyramid Trek, again no more bites. It does sting a little on your face for a few moments and the smell is not great but fades very quickly. A small price to pay to avoid the dreaded mossies.

Not overly heavy but a little greasy to start with .spray out side not in as rather Slippy if lands on a tiled floor ! . Only got bit once in the rain forest . So I would rate this product as an excellent buy
