Every aspect of his life – and that of his little sister, Princess Charlotte – has been planned down to the last detail. The Royal Household at Buckingham Palace has even made arrangements for his State funeral, even though he is barely two years old.
They already know which school he will attend; it will be Eton, just like his father before him, and which university, which William and Kate want to be St Andrew’s in Scotland where they both studied and where they first met.
From now on, everything George does will be subject to scrutiny by the highest authority at Buckingham Palace: the friends (boys and girls) he will be permitted to have, the sports he will be allowed to take part in and, of course, his gradual introduction into the never-ending round of Royal public engagements. This fascinating book reveals all in the most precise and accurate detail.

Brian Hoey has written 26 books about Britain’s Royal Family including the only official biography of the Princess Royal, the Queen’s only daughter. As a former radio and television reporter, he has interviewed many members of the Royal Family including the Prince of Wales, Prince Philip and the late Diana; Princess of Wales. He was also part of the commentary team at the wedding of Diana and Charles in 1981 and again, in 1997, at Diana’s funeral.

From the title, a reader may reasonably expect the (very short at 52pp) book to be about Prince George. It isn't. He features along with Charlotte and other short chapters about Royal births, Catherine, The Line of Succession, Sporting Royals, Shooting, Fishing, Who's Who in the family and other assorted topics with a loosely Royal slant. But what's really annoying throughout is the extent of random speculation and factual inaccuracy. For example,
'When he leaves Eton in 2031, it is a safe bet that George will move to Scotland and enrol at St Andrew's...'
'Brief spells in one or more of the armed forces will follow and. He will certainly be taught how to fly jets...' Pure and utter speculation. His father and uncle are helicopter pilots, not jet pilots. Prince Charles doesn't fly jets. Ill informed rubbish. And how does the author know that he'll wear a Barbour jacket one day?
I can't recommend this in any way.
