The Woodsman pub and campsite is under new management, with new staff and improved facilities. The old gang, plus some additional characters, return by invitation to ‘check it out’, and the adventures begin; retaliating against marauding motorbikes in the middle of the night, enduring a bike tour to hell and back, watching Tel and Sophie jumping from a plane and witnessing Tel having some sort of nervous breakdown, fighting against the tyranny of Liv’s father and soon-to-be ex-husband, and almost losing a vastly expensive ring. You can’t get much more memorable than a camping trip like this – perfect holiday reading.

About the author

I was born and raised in Birmingham, UK. Whilst raising three sons I sold short stories to national magazines, including Woman’s Weekly, People’s Friend, Take a Break and, oddly, Motor Caravan World. I also ran a successful online blog, Brummie Blogs, for many years, and a weekly blog for the Sunday Mercury newspaper as Brummie Broad.
I've worked as a city centre secretary, personal assistant and 'temp', and utilise this vast experience in my writing (office staff of Birmingham, be afraid, be very afraid). I now run a transcription business, and can type fast enough to purge all the wild ramblings in my head and transform them into stories - much cheaper than therapy.
TIPPING POINT is my first book based very loosely on my working life. PITCHING UP! and PITCHING UP AGAIN! are based on my enthusiasm for caravanning.

She really knows her stuff. Writing is perfect and I have studied creative writing. Her characters are so well drawn. The situations are funny, emotional, unexpected. Yes, one storyline was predictable but that meant you follow it through and clap at the reveal. I am going to wait for book number 3 or a spin off. Hey Deborah, there's an idea !
This second book of the Pitching Up series, has also been great, so many mishaps that you could visually see in your mind when reading this book makes a lot of laugh out loud moments.
Cant wait to go camping again. Enjoyable book and hope there will be more from this fun Group, to see what happens at their next visit to campsite.
Waiting for Pitching Up, the sequel.......
