This review is for the Philips Beard & Stubble Trimmer for Men, 9000 Prestige, 30 Length Settings, 120mins Run Time, SteelPrecision Blades, UK 3-Pin Plug - BT9810/13.Before I get into my review, I must advise that this beard trimmer is preferably catered to those who like a stubble beard opposed to a longer beard. It is also only recommended for trimming your beard - not your hair. If this is your preference, I recommend a multi grooming tool instead.This is due to the precision of the blades itself as they are clear cut and can cut up to a beard length of 10mm.Not only is this the best beard trimmer I have used - but it is also the easiest.The shaver itself is made from high quality stainless steel base and contains a grippy rubber material for holding. Despite the £120 price tag, I should mention that in terms of quality, it is worth it for longevity.The “skin follower” in regards to the blades, makes shaving your beard at the angle you want a lot more easier than other traditional beard trimmers, giving you a more accurate and sharp shave.The steel blades cut at the desired length with one shave, whereas with trimmers I would have to go over my beard a few times to get the desired length.Cleaning is made easy and a lot of the hairs are stored within the trimmers inner compartment which is easy as opening the top lid and running it under water.Adjustability of the length setting is made simple, therefore there is no need for multiple guards/combs. The shaver itself can shave up to a desired length of 10mm in 0.25 increments starting from 1.25, which can be selected easily by using the turn metal turn wheel.The upper number represents the desired length without the guard, whereas the lower number represents the desired length using the guard/comb for longer beards.The trimmer lasts for approximately 120 minutes, however I found that it lasts considerably longer when used for short intermittent trims. It also comes with a good quality zipped storage case.The trimmer also has quick charge and in only 5 minutes of quick charging you can get one whole trim.In conclusion, I would highly recommend this trimmer. However, if you are looking to detail and shape your beard, I recommend using it in conjunction with a multi groom tool as the trimmer itself is quite long.
