Unfortunately this didn’t happen as my cats didn’t get it and until now they don’t! They don’t even touch it.
It is a great idea and I am sure other cats will be entertained by this.
The ball has two different size holes for various treats/dry food which is clever. It is big enough to put fair amount inside and it’s easy to refill.
If you found this helpful, I would appreciate if you can press the helpful button :-)

'Feeding' your cat is also simple: you twist the two halves of the ball until the slots open up enough to let the snacks fall out.
Depending how big the snacks are and how the big the slots are will define how often the food fall out.
However, the claim that this will help your cat be active and exercise with the ball is a pretty weak argument.
Our cat doesn't hit and chase the ball, eating snacks as she chases it. She basically pushing the ball around with her nose, purring like crazy, and devouring every snack that falls out. If I'd left her alone with this for 5 minutes she would have eaten half the contents.
It does provide a short, playful distraction if you play a mean trick: let a couple of snacks fall out an then close the slots up... the cat will continue to push the ball around for a few minutes.
Given the experience with our cat, I can't recommend it even though she loves it. Fat cat: 1. Exercise: 0.
At first it's a little tricky to find the right spacing for the food you're filling it with, but I think this is as dependant on the cat as the kibble: one of our boys has a pretty high tenacity threshold and enjoys a more sporadic drip-feed of treats. The other one just loves the game of it, and needs the food to come out at a fast rate otherwise he'll end his play session still hungry and get a little frustrated.
We NEVER leave these unattended, as one of the boys got his claw trapped in a hole the first time he tried it. While I'm certain that's just a fluke accident (and no harm was done), he wasn't able to free his claw himself. And, in any case, you should only give your cats fun stuff to do when you're doing it with them to strengthen your bond to them (and their association of you being the exciting cool thing that makes fun stuff happen).
Since that first incident, the cats have been using these balls happily and without further issue, and I don't hold the product responsible in any way. But anything with holes runs that same risk, but we're not so concerned that we stopped letting them play.
Would still recommend :)
It took a few minutes for me to figure out how to set the holes of the ball to just the right size. If you set them too big, the ball loses food bits on every turn. If you set the holes too small, it becomes so stingy with the letting go of its contents that your cat may lose interest. It helped to play a bit with the ball in my hand and basically try to shake them out by myself. I now know the right setting, just leave it at that position, and refilling the empty ball now takes less than 30 seconds.
The ball seems to be of high quality. I've only been using it for a few weeks now, but nothing broke and given its sturdy construction, I expect it to last a long time.
Highly recommended for any cat owner! Make them work for their food, it's the natural way...
I know that some just use it for extra treats, but we use it for her full amount of dry food. It has slowed down the speed at which she eats and she is having fun with it as well.
I had to show her how to roll it the first two times of using the feeder ball, but now she will sit and wait for me to put it down for her. Before I got the ball for her, she would empty the bowl within half an hour. Now she eats around half and then goes for a nap. She eats the rest after sleeping so it takes her around 8 hours to finish it.
The ball is very easy to fill and it is easy to adjust the size of the holes as well. I went for a bigger opening at first, so she could get the hang of rolling it. After a couple of days I adjusted it again, so the biscuits only fall out when the ball rolls at a certain angle.
The only downside is when it comes to cleaning the ball. It is easy to wash it, but it does take a long time to dry, so I am considering getting a second one.
