However, it is a beast to put together!!! I stupidly tried on my own when it first arrived. BIG mistake. The instructions are rubbish to put it politely. I didn’t have the strength or a hope in hell of doing it alone. After trying, dismantling and then trying again, I threw all the poles into the middle of the garden and walked away whilst cursing rather inappropriately for a woman of my age!!!
It stayed there for several days until I enlisted the help of my lodger and her boyfriend. It took the 3 of us 2 complete dismantles and then 3rd time lucky as we tried to interpret the instructions and then realised that using common sense was much easier.
It took about an hour and half to get it right and we literally went through blood, sweat and tears to achieve it.
Once assembled though it really is lovely and sturdy. Not the easiest to get off of once you are on it…similar to a hammock really as it rocks as you try to get up. I know the grandkids are going to love lying on it and I will be fighting for some room for me and I expect the dog and cats will take over too at times.
Highly recommended piece of garden furniture, I just wish the instructions were clearer but we got there in the end.

My partner assembled this. I waited for him to call for my help but he did it by himself. He said it was really not that difficult and wasn’t sure what the complaints were all about. This hammock chair is incredibly comfortable and looks awesome. Several neighbours have come around and asked me where I got it because it’s so cool looking. My man and I love relaxing in the evening, together, on it. I can’t recommend it enough.
