If your looking to for a trampoline that be set up quickly then folds away with ease then avoid this.
The product seem quite sturdy (ive not yet used it much) the frame is quite heavy, the bunjee chords are wrapped well enough and you get a resonable spring in you jump.
But for me the biggest feature was the ability to fold it and store it but the effort required to set it up will put you off setting it up and having a workout on it. I primarily bought it for my 4 year old but for kid under the age of 6 they wont get much of a bounce as the tension is too much.
Setting it up. It come out the box with the chord already attsched to the frame all it requires is open it up. Easier said then done , opening the frame so that it click require tremendous force you think you might snap it or more concerning injure yourself trying to lock it in the open position. I did manage to lock it in position. Then came the task of screwing on the 8 legs, and i have to stress it is a long tiresome task! Screwing on the legs each require a lot of effort and a long time to screw ill the way down after the first 4 legs my forearms became fatigued and tight. This part took 15 minutes. The trampolene comes with an adjustable hand rail to stabilise you when jumping i didnt bother putting it i relised if this goes on the folding and storage part would no longer be practicle.
I tested for 15 minutes and had a light workout its firm, had a good spring so my use its fine, for my little one she couldnt get a good jump out of it as the tension was too high it tension doesnt appear to be adjustable.
When it comes to folding it for storage ive already spend an hour attemtping it and have given up. Unscrewing each legs again will take another 15 minutes or so (the twisting motion is not smooth at all and seems to be the threading was machined correctly). When it comes to folding it the instruction describe that requires two people to fold up and goes onto describe that it require both go down on hand and knees to fold. Me and my wife gave it a go but we realised the effort required to fold it becomes really dangerous. A huge effort went into locking it place but as it would locked tour not as afraid of injury, in reverse you will soon realise your fear that it would snap back with that same effort you out in. We both tried as the instruction described but couldnt find ourself to unlock the frame, i believe that the position would be the safest but we couldnt get it to unlock. We tried other position but i realised the position we found ourselves in the heavy metal frame would snap back our face or skull when it recoiled and these postion were the most likely way to get it to fold. I have to state that i could be wrong as we failed to fold it that it could simply fold with out any snappung recoile but i didnt want to risk potentially any serious injury and i failed to notice any mechinism that would stop it from violently snapping back.
In the end ive unscrew the legs and stored the trampoleve flat under a kingsize mattress not ideal but its out of site. If could try the device before i could buy it i deffinatly would not buy it. I bought mostly as it the options were limited during the corona crisis and it would arrive quickly. I bought the trampolene for the little one to get excersize indoors and so it was an impulse buy but at almost £90.00 its was overpriced and the folding feature is too impracticle to implement each time. If you buy it expect to either keep it set up in which case you could get use it of it, or folded and rarely if ever to be set up and used.
Ive only had it for a few hours and felt the need to review it as i am very dissapointed. If i change my mind and its better then the 1 star ive given after some use i will update my review and rating. If i dont then ive stuck to my rating.
