Personally I would not purchase this item again or recommend. Its easy to fill but when you start to pour out water you need to tilt slowly to stop it all coming out of the top, rather than the spout. When the can gets towards empty it also just dribbles from the bottom of the spout. We have had the can for about a year now and there is water trapped inside somewhere that just never drains out completely. Gets three stars though as our daughter loves watching the water some out then it is pouring well and putting her hands under it etc.

Warning - Siblings may think this toy is designed to simply pour water over each others heads!

It makes a lot of splashing but gives hours of fun (and tears.)

It is not one of them toys that will go mouldy as it is a hard plastic.

Great bath time toy that will last years.

It is colourful with a non slip handle so that any water spillages that ends up wetting his feet and legs are not really accidental!!! He has a lot of fun with it, I purchased this item for playing outdoors with and not necessarily for the bath.

It's a 5 quid watering can so it's difficult to be too critical of this product.

It's a small plastic watering can and for kids who enjoy water play, it's great.

Will it let them get all Alan Titchmash on your rose bushes? No.

There is also a complete lack of packaging, which is something to be aware of if you buy this as a gift to wrap up - it arrives in a plain plastic bag.

Perfect for bath time!

Bought for my 6 month old son for bath time. His big sister (6 years old) also thinks this watering can is lots of fun. Baby is mesmerised by water flowing from the watering can and he can hold the handle easily because of the design. Lovely bright colours and it’s solid (already took quite a beating). It isn’t the easiest toy to let dry because of its shape, but I clean all bath toys with cold water sterilising fluid to prevent mould and mildew build up.

There's nothing surprising about this. It has fun colors and is well-made, but I can't say that it provides sophisticated entertainment for our 1-year-old - it simply pours water, and it hasn't yet gotten her attention. Perhaps when she has more strength + coordination to do it herself she will enjoy it more, but for now she prefers the squishy toys, and she wouldn't notice if water was coming from this or any other vessel (eg a plastic cup!).

Bought this for a friends 18 month old daughter, she liked it well enough but her 3 year old brother loved it, thought it was great and kept asking when he could water the flowers. As it is a bath toy it is not very big but it is colourful, sturdy enough and kids loving using it in the bath - would recommend

This looks really nice with bright colours and sturdy. However it is a bit smaller than expected. I guess this makes it less messy for bath time. I bought this for my 2.5 year old-niece but I would say it's probably more suitable for 1 - 1.5 year old kids.
