Product description

Pack of 3 cotton vest extenders, hand made in UK. Sturdy and made from two layers of cotton bound by 100% cotton binding. These popper on to the bottom of baby vests and extend the length under the crotch by approximately 4 inches (10cm). The 3 poppers are 9mm in diameter and positioned 15-20mm apart, there is also some sidewards stretch to this product. These are now bound in supersoft jersey cotton for extra comfort and durability and are made by us here in Loughborough, England.

Perfect for extending my adult bodysuit!!!

So I’m 5’11” and bought a bodysuit forgetting how tall I was and sad that it was too short for me. These extenders came to the rescue and worked perfectly to extend it!!! Package comes with 3 and I used 2. Was super comfortable and my bodysuit has been saved!

They do the job.
They did not fit Tesco F&F, Vertbaudet, La Redoute, Polarn O. PYRET, Zara.
They did fit Asda, Next, Jojo Maman Bebe, H&M.

3 stars and not 5 because there's nothing to them, they really should not cost as much as a three pack of actual vests.

The poppers do not fit any standard baby clothing. I pressed the protruding poppers in with a bit of force, but the "receiving" poppers (ie the ones without the sticky out bit) are too big for standard clothes poppers. I then removed the poppers I had inserted but they had bent the holes of the babygro out of shape and now they don't snap together anymore.

Originally got these because we use reusable nappies and I wanted baby to have a bit of extra room but they can also be used to get a bit more wear out of vests before having to buy size up.
Saves money in the long run as you get much more wear out of clothes and baby much happier with the extra room.

It has 3 poppers but is compatible with the 2 popper vests aswell, we just use the two outside poppers. They are easy enough to attach and remove but not so easy that the fall open.

At first I thought it might be a bit expensive so I’ll only buy one pack to try but I think the price is completely fair and I will be buying more

Got these to extend vest over a cloth nappy. Works really well for this effect and even if the vest has 2 poppers, it still works well.
Only downside, which is significant, is that the poppers seem to be a bit larger than in vests of certain brands. I used it with a Mamas&Papas vest and the poppers no longer work. In fact they stopped working immediately (got forcibly widened I think) and I had to throw the vest away (because I'm not skilled enough to replace the poppers). I don't use the extenders with Mamas&Papas vests anymore.

Terrible - missing poppers!

Had to give this a star in order to write a review - product is poorly manufactured with edging leaving a big lump. The bigger problem was that the product only had poppers on one end - so it can’t connect to the vest on the other side - it would just be an extended flap on the baby grow. The product picture has poppers on both ends of the extender so can only presume I’ve been sent a faulty item - see my photo - immediate return!!

Great for extending favourite vests into the next size. Fits most standard bodysuits (eg Tesco/Asda/Morrisons/Sainsburys). Most shops only sell up to size 2-3 years..... it's worth knowing that M&S do upto age 13 years in their "specialist bodysuit" range online (designed for special needs kids), although they come up half a size small (my little one is in age 3-4 clothes and needs the age 4-5 bodysuits although they are a little long).

Great little trick to extend the life of vests. My looooong little girl outgrew her newborn vests almost instantly, and her 0-1 shortly after but the 0-3 are far too baggy on her although the length will soon be perfect. These keep her snug in the smaller sizes but aren’t too tight around her nappy. They work on any vest with standard sized poppers Eg John Lewis, mothercare, tu/Sainsburys, M&S. On some brand they fit better if you just use one or two poppers. They don’t work with vests with smaller diameter poppers eg Zara, H&M but I haven’t found any extenders for those anywhere!
