The My Buggy Buddy Lock is an essential piece of pram kit and the answer to every parent’s prayers! It allows parents to carry bags on their prams and the combination lock means that it can be used to secure the pushchair to fences or railings to protect it against theft.

The loop shaped device could not be easier to use. It simply snaps on to the pram handle, is clipped together and the combination set. Only your unique number combination will release the lock and pram. With prams costing hundreds of pounds it is a brilliantly cost effective insurance policy.

Multiple bags including shopping bags, changing bags and handbags can be strung onto the loop before the clip is locked back in place, putting an end to the frustrating and potentially dangerous practice of steering prams with one hand while holding bags with another. Obviously common sense is required so that you don’t overload your buggy!

I’m not one to write a bad review very often, I like to give products a chance. But this is just not a good product. It simply isn’t durable enough, the slightest bit of wind and it’s flapping all over the place. I’ve seen some reviews complaining that you have to move it when you change positions, well of course you do and I don’t mind that as I like how small it is compared to a parasol. The video I attached is from yesterday, a lovely sunny day in the evening, very mild wind. Have tried in many different positions to no avail.

Brilliant idea, and would have been good if it hadn’t broken after 2 uses. Purchased for my 8 month old for our first sunny holiday. The outer metal poked through the material. Luckily this was spotted before harm came to my baby who likes to grab and chew things. Could have seriously injured her hands or mouth on this. Please avoid. I complained to amazon who kept offering apologies. And didn’t seem to care about what could have happened to my baby. was told this item would no longer be sold, but clearly is so I’m leaving this review to warn others. Now have nothing to use for remainder of holiday on the pram for shade. I also had to really push to get my money back. Just avoid avoid avoid.

Just after 3 days of using this clip the soft lining felt apart as there was a very sharp piece of metal on the clip. It damaged my pram A LOT. Please see pictures. I would suggest you to avoid this clip if you don’t want any damages.

Flaps about in the wind, impossible to keep in place so absolutely useless as a sunshade. As if that wasn't bad enough, after using it for only a few days the shade completely flew off the handle and blew away! Absolute piece of junk.

We brought 2 of these soon after having my first born in 2014. They were used nearly every day for 3 years! One broke 4 weeks into have my second born so I replaced it with a new one, then the second one broke 6 weeks after having my newborn (hes now 8 weeks old) so we’ve just brought our 2nd replacement! I’d say that’s amazing right....... over 3 years of heavy duty use and they’ve only just needed replacing! And they’ve carried a lot of weight over the years! They’ve been florida and back with us, they’ve been on days out carrying heaps of picnic stuff, swimming stuff, Bags of spare clothes, shopping (lots and lots of shopping) even managed the big Christmas shops! Go for them they are fab, and and they double up as great she’ll locks if you have to leave your buggy unattended, in Florida we also put them on the wheels when we went off to do rides!

Fantastic buggy!!
We bought this to travel on a plane/ holiday with and then to live at the grandparents. Lightweight, big hood which is great to protect from the sun/ rain.
Bright colour pram so we could spot it easily from the baggage recall.
I also have a silver cross pram (£150) very similar to this, and if I’m honest I far prefer this pram! It’s very well made, and is so cost effective compared to the SC pram!
I’d buy this again and certainly would recommend.

Love this! I tried a few different sunshade after reading the different reviews. This is my favourite as baby and I can still see each other. Yes it blows about a bit in the slightest breeze but that's easily remedied by tucking it into the buggie a little depending on the direction of the sun or using a peg to hold it in place. It's easy to move around and to keep packed away when not in use.
