These plates really are not that good value for money at all. The suction worked ok for the first few times but lost it completely after the first few uses. The worst bit is that you’d think it was stuck down and little one would try pulling it off the high chair (whilst full of food) and so the food and plate would go flying ... bit of a nightmare!

I wouldn’t repurchase or recommend these. There’s also not that much space in each compartment for food.

We have an Ikea high chair, so a lovely smooth surface for these items to stick to.
However, I noted, during use, that, although the plate is firm, my 8 month old had very little trouble removing the plate from the tray. I have tried it with the plate and tray bone dry, damp and quite wet but the results are the same.
I bought a set of bowls (from the same manufacturer) at the same time and these are great. They can be removed but require considerably more effort.
These plates would be ideal for someone with a disability who just requires a hand to hold a plate steady whilst they chase the food.

Just wanted to add. The plates do actually hold firm but seem to release themselves after about 5mins. I pressed down firmly on the built in divider and the plate held firm for a few more minutes. I wondered if the silicone 'skirt' could be softer, more flexible, slightly larger?

I really like this product. I think they are super cute colours and such a good price! The only problem is that my 9 month old daughter worked out in about 5 minutes how to tip it upside down. She pushes the plate to the end of her table and the suction stops working. I will try to put the plate on an ordinary table and see if it stays on. I still like them though.

I have bought the stay put suction munchkin bowls ( set of 3) and they are excellent. Such a good suction. I was so pleased that I bought the plates too. They are very nice but not as good suction as the matching munchkin bowls. You need to be careful when placed on the surface to make sure that you press well for the suction. Still very happy with the buy. On daily use already a few months now without any problems. I actually bough a second set so to have four (enough for washing etc)

Let down by the suction

These are good quality but, unlike the bowls, they don't stay stuck to the tray. We have the IKEA high chair and the tray is still in top condition and is obviously clean (forget about the suction if it's slightly dirty), but these just slowly pop out the majority of the times. In contrast, the Munchkin bowls work great. With the plates sometimes it helps to pull the lip out as you press it down but yeah, I wouldn't buy again. We also have the bamboo bubba bear plate and bowl, and those stick perfectly.
One big downside with the suction issue is if you need to remove the plate to refill it, forget about re-sticking it since most likely your child will have lightly soiled the tray by the time you're back.
We do love the fact you can microwave and most importantly put it in the dish washer, which you cannot do with the bamboo ones and is a massive improvement.
So, maybe we got a bad batch, maybe the quality control is poor, etc. But ours do not stick well.

Good price plates. Colours are vivid and plates are a decent size too. Dividers are good to portion out different food groups. Only downside is the suction seems to lessen itself once it's stuck down so halfway through a meal you'll have to re stick the plate down. My bubba is 7 months old and he's figured out how to flip it already. I'm not too concerned about that though because the plates itself are very good.

The suction is terrible. Do not know the point as to why they’d be advertised as such. Thanks to whoever made these ridiculous plates, my flooring is ruined. Cheers 👌🏻
What a waste of money.
They are however easy to clean after. But my floor isn’t... also my poor baby who’s only just experimenting with food and using his hands, lost his whole dinner.
Poxy things these are. Don’t buy them.

Extremely disappointed with this purchase, I currently use the same branded bowls and spoons so I expected a lot more from this product.

My little one was able to pull the plate straight off her high chair within seconds. Do not recommend to anyone. Save your money and purchase something else. The suction is awful, the only bonus is the design of the plate but does not do what it says it does.
