Do not buy. I bought as inadvertently dropped blender glass jug from previous blender, which had been excellent, and smashed into smithereens, but unfortunately not able to buy a replacement jug as over 5 years old.

This looks good and is easy to clean, but... stopped working midway through blending on 4th use for making strawberry daiquiris. Hardly a difficult task. No smell of burning, just stopped working.... has not worked since. Not worth buying. Believe what you read as I only leave 100% genuine reviews as an honest buyer to protect similar buyers.

I tried to put frozen fruit into the blender that is advertised to blend frozen fruit. Imagine my surprise when the blender instead released the scent of burning plastic, and the frozen fruit was not blended. For a blender that cost a bit more than other blenders I had seen, I had expected it to perform just a little bit better than this. After turning it off briefly, I tried to use it again, but it no longer turns on. This might actually be a good thing...

Would strongly recommend it if you are hoping to start a house fire. Would not recommend the use of the blender for blending items which are normally blended by a blender.

Hopeless even when it works and broke after 4 uses

Absolutely hopeless, couldn't blend a thing without you needing to pause it every 10 seconds to scoop down the sides cause the blades would be spinning in air. This is stuff like strawberries, not anything hard or tough.
Then six weeks after purchasing it fried itself leaving plastic fibres all around the base of the jug.

This is just my experience with this item.
I bought the blender a couple of weeks ago, at first it was really easy to use, clean, etc. However, the last time I was able to use it, it began to struggle, at this point it started to smoke and stopped working after that. I haven't been able to access the customer service team as the link supplied is non-existent. I would like to get my full refund back as soon as possible.

I only used the product for liquidising and right from the beginning realised it doesn’t smoothen enough. The sound was unusual to most blenders I’ve used but thought Murphy Richard’s are different since this was my first product. It stopped working after a couple on months. I contacted Murphy Richard’s as the manual said they give you 3 years warranty but I was told to go to Amazon because Amazon has bought the warranty and will normally give one year warranty. This heavy duty product has become the elephant in my shed. I just want to get rid of it but not without my money. Please advice.

This thing is great, the company got it to me in 1 day when they thought it would take 2 and the blender is great i have used it 3 times with no burning smell and no issues what so ever.

for the cost it is a great blender, i only use it for smoothies however my family have one and use theirs to make milkshake and soup as well, my thoughts on this is simple, if you need a blender, get this one.

also there is only one thing i would change, the base, it is plastic, maybe that could have also been metal but this is just my opinion, it has no effect on the product.

great buy, I would buy this one if you need a blender.
