God this stuff is awful! I'm a bartender of 5 years and had never actually used this stuff, I ALWAYS use Funkin passion fruit puree but it wasn't available until Sunday and I needed it for Friday, i honestly wish i hadn't this stuff is thick/gulpy and sticky and outrageously sweet and I like sweet! And honestly where is the passion fruit! The reviews that say this is good those people have clearly NEVER gone to a proper cocktail bar. This makes the kind of cocktail that is cheap and squash like with an overkill of sweetness, please if you're reading this order the funkin passion puree you wont regret it the way I regretted this purchase. Much more expensive then my usual one aswell and honestly in my opinion disgusting. Pornstar martinis are delicious and this somehow made me never want another one.

Passion Fruit Puree is an essential ingredient in a Pornstar Martini. I was unable to source my usual brand and bought Monin. Only making one or two a week the use by date makes it a very expensive drink as it will not keep too long. So I used to freeze the rest in ice cube trays and use them over the following few months. You cannot do that with this product - it won't freeze. It stays a gloopy mess. That's because there is too much sugar. There's plenty of passion fruit taste but it is overly sweet. Monin is a very respected name in the flavoured syrup market and I use their other products, but not this one ever again - back to the more expensive rival.

This tastes fantastic and has the perfect syrup consistency. It is a light orange colour (as it should be). The only downside is that the closure points down into the syrup when in use (it is submerged when pouring), therefore when you close it it brings up a bit of syrup to the top which has to be wiped off, which is a bit of a waste.

Great flavour, wonderful for cocktails, but is a large bottle. So that's good value for money, however unless you are a cocktail bar you are likely to have this "turn" before you've used it all - therefore freeze a load of it in ice cube trays in your freezer as this really is yummy!

I bought this solely to be used as an ingredient for making Pornstar Martini's at home, and it's great, I recommend you use this instead of sugar syrup to make a thicker and creamier cocktail. My girlfriend actually prefers mine to those served at our local cocktail bar at £8.00 each.

The puree is thick and sticky, the bottle needs a slight squeeze to coax it out of the bottle, but there is enough in one bottle to make many cocktails, I have also used it with just orange and pineapple juice to make an alcohol free version.

I'm used to buying the Funkin passionfruit juice and I thought this would be a good substitute. The product came with a broken lid so I have had to use clingfilm on the lid. Then, when I poured it, it came out in a big glob of syrupy something-or-other. I had to thin this stuff down in my cocktail with some soda water because it wasn't drinkable with just the vanilla vodka and passoa and a bit of pineapple juice, etc.
