Not a particularly bad budget phone given its value price.
The Android 11 version despite its stated uncluttered installation, nevertheless comprises significant Moto branded bloatwear, skins and feature utilities, much of which are utterly useless and intrusive. They can however, be disabled to a greater extent from within Android OS settings menu or blocked via a Firewall App.
The fingerprint scanner is accurate most of time, but not good if ambient temperatures get too warm, when it fails completely and simply does not function.
The 120hz screen refresh is all very well, but the IP-LCD screen is just completely wrenched in bright light, where the screen simply turns a reflective black making it useless for anything.
The camera despite its high pixel specification is just plain awful producing very poor over coloured, granular and glaring images, in only being able to take mediocre pictures when lighting is perfect. It’s absolutely no good even in modest bright light, let alone sunny conditions and forget about taking pictures in any form of even slightly dim or overcast lighting conditions, the results are dark, shadowed and sullen. Moto does provide various built in apps in attempting to enhance pictures, but they are all without exception utterly clumsy bloatware and a useless gimmick.
Bluetooth is a bit hit and miss, with devices often not connecting, not been found or dropped.
Annoyingly, the Moto G60s has an all too regular habit of intermittently losing mobile network connectivity, where only a complete restart will rectify the issue.
Forget about maintaining a GPS signal, it simply does not function most of the time or uses either a previous location or a spuriously generated location. Utter Rubbish, don't expect SatNav apps or photo geotagging to function!
The MediaTek G95 processor is responsive and at least as good as anything comparable from Qualcomm, where the 128gb RAM gives plenty of storage without the need for SD Cards - which can be added if required. The battery at 5000 mAH lasts a full day of use, although over time, deterioration can be noted, with more frequent charging required.
Hotspot tethering is absolutely excellent in never failing to connect.
All in all a phone good enough for certain levels of general use, so long as not in brightly lit conditions, where the screen is a complete let-down and the camera utterly appallingly.

First the good points: excellent build quality and design. Crystal clear screen and fast and responsive. Now the bad which earn it 1 star: This phone was fully charged and contents of my old phone copied over with no problems. But it randomly switches off completely and unable to wake it via fingerprint, face recognition, or power button. Have to reboot with long press of the power button almost every time I picked it up to use. Had this vfor less than a day and must have had to do this 20 times. Totally unusable phone. I tried factory reset and safe mode restart. Searching online for the problem revealed many others with same issue. In process of a return and refund request. Do NOT buy this phone.

I've had moto phones for the last couple of phones I've had. This one was a disappointment. Not a disaster but it kept corrupting memory cards which is one of the key things I want to work in a phone as i store a lot of offline music. I think they peaked with the Moto S7 Plus and it's been going a bit downhill since then.
I've gone back to a new S7 to get me through the next couple of years... unsure if I'll buy another moto after the experience with the G60.

some bits are not as good as the Samsung like the camera but rest of the phone have not had a problem
runs much the same
I was going to buy a S20 or s21 but are loads more money
and for what a couple of pics and look on Facebook any phone can do that

In typical Motorola fashion, the device comes with near-stock Android, while the Motorola software addons are not intrusive and actually add value, aka not bloatware.
With that said so far the battery is holding up really well, but I will revisit in a couple of months and see if that's still the case.

I needed a replacement for my G6 that got the screen broken, the cost of getting a new screen was not worth it. This was about the best of what I was looking for at the price point. The new (to me) size is too large for my current handlebar case when using as a saynav, so that means extra expenditure. Also obviously, it does not fit in my pocket so well as older smaller phone. That said, it's a good phone, good spec and had a reasonable battery life. Would I recommend it? Yes, but be aware that the extra cm size does make a difference.

I've been buying Moto G phones since the first one and they have always been great. This looked like it would be great, the screen is excellent, battery life is brilliant. However I've found two major flaws with it. Our house has a signal booster which provides a mini 3G cell using the broadband. This phone will not make or receive calls on this. I'm assuming it won't work on other 3G cells either. As Plusnet don't provide WiFi calling this means I can't make or receive calls at home unless I go outside and get a 4G signal. The other issue is poor WiFi handling, it keeps dropping connections, we have a 2.4G and 5G network and extenders for both and it can't cope with switching between these and is very slow. I've disabled WiFi scanning in location settings as suggested by Motorola and this has improved things but this should not be necessary. All our other phones have no problems with either either of these issues. I don't know if this is due to the new chipset but these are basic functions that don't work very well. I wouldn't buy this again.
