I was so disappointed with the quality of this product and seriously doubt it will last 5 minutes.
The blackout material is literally paper thin and will not travel well as it will easily damage with folding. The delicate silver backing will let light through rendering the product useless.
I'm afraid its a plain rip off of the Easy blind but in hindsight I should have realised this because of its low price point. Sadly I will be returning this product and requesting a refund.

On the plus side it comes with plenty of patches to hold in place and if you just want it for a make shift couple of nights then maybe its ok. Personally I would rater save the landfill and buy something that will last.

100% blackout but a few niggles.

In terms of blackout these are fabulous 100% pitch black. When I opened the package I had my doubts as they are so thin and lightweight however, these definitely block out 100% of light coming in. My room is east facing so we have the sun shining in very early in the summer and this totally solves that problem - we have used with the velcro and not with the suction cups.
It's great that these can be cut down to fit any window. We were even able to make 2 out of one blind which was brilliant.
However; these do trap a lot of heat between the window and the blackout - so much so that it cracked the inside pane of my double glazed window!
Also, I have found that the velcro parts that stick to the window frame come away after a week or so and need to be replaced or re adhered, this has been the same on all the windows we use them on where we take them up and down each day. We have one window where the blackout is directly on the glass (rather than the frame) this one stays up all the time, and has not had any issues.

I absolutely love this product. For years I have been using a suction-type blackout blind which would fall down all the time. Using the velcro system, it is super easy to fit this blind, and to then take it up and down (which I do every day). Once it's up you get TOTAL blackout, which again was never the case with the other blinds I have used. The backing is also silver, which means your room doesn't feel as dark as with a black blind. I know that some reviews refer to the blind as 'paper thin' but that is not a disadvantage, if you are using it with the velcro, and it is a TOTAL BLACKOUT EXPERIENCE. It's making such a difference to me and I am so happy with it, totally recommend.

Wanted something to make the lounge pitch black so we could watch movies on the projector at anytime of day not just at nighttime. This blocks out all light that you can’t even see your hand in front of your face. So easy to cut to size and fit. We used the Velcro tabs that came with it and fitted it to the very edges of the window frame. Has reflective side so will also keep heat out but gets quite hot behind so wouldn’t recommend keep it up all day.

My old curtains/blinds let a lot of light through in the morning always waking me up (I work alternating shifts so my sleep pattern is all over the place). This works great! I left it about 5cm wider/longer than the window and used half the velcro pads on the window itself / half on the frame and literally no light comes through.

I sleep a lot better now - was using sleep mask before, but it was uncomfortable and usually slipped off before the giant nuclear reactor in the sky pops up over the horizon.

This is so lightweight and versatile, so easy to do and the suction cups are the best I’ve ever had - they don’t budge. I needed a solution as my sons room gets the sun all day, from really early in the morning and we have indoor cats so I needed to find something that keeps the sun out. It’s a sunny morning today and already I can feel the difference it’s made (a lot cooler!). The big test will be when it does actually get hot but so far I’m dead impressed

We moved into a new-build house recently and can’t get anyone in to install curtains and blinds for another couple of weeks. Our 10-month-old sleeps best in a totally dark room so we were panicking about whether this curtain would work as a temporary solution, but it has been an absolute lifesaver. I bought three because we have one window in the baby’s room and two in our own, but we ended up only needing two of them because you can cut them to fit your window. We’ll keep the third for any future travel we might do. They’re really easy to fit with the choice of suction cups or Velcro, and they really do block out light, to the point where our baby’s room is pitch black. As other reviews have said, it can make the windows dangerously hot if the sun is shining on them, so we tend to pull part of it away from the windows and open the windows a crack when we don’t need the rooms dark to make sure the heat can escape. Would highly recommend these.

Quick fix, then you have found your product. I have blinds which are a little distance away from the actual window glass. Old house with deep window. So this product was so easy to measure and cut for the size I needed.

Only draw back; you will have to remove them and put them back up after each day and night. That’s it really.
