I love this stuff. My grey-white hair makes me look like a proverbial granny. I love the Auburn/Dark Mahogany, which I am currently mixing with Mahogany.
This is much nicer and much cheaper than chemical dyes (which can cause severe allergies), because you can take as little as you need. And if you find you have taken more than you needed, you'll still be able to use it a few days later, when you discover that spot that you missed, provided you keep the mixture a little bit moist and/or add a bit of water right before use.
The photo on the left shows you my normal hair (after having tried a curling iron), the one in the middle shows you the effect of the Henné mix that I use and the one on the right shows you how the "brown" Henné version works out on my hair. I leave it in for 2 - 3 hours. (I have used a different henna brand in the past that I had to leave in overnight.)
I use Elvive L'Oréal "6 precious flower oils" as conditioner after I have rinsed out the henna with water and with a very plain shampoo.
