I had a magnetic GB badge, which gave years of reliable service and was reused on multiple trips abroad.
When I purchased these I expected them to be on a par with the previous versions, but I was sadly disappointed. These UK badges are about half as thick as my old GB badge and this has a marked affect on the strength of the magnetic sticking power.

I did a run across France with one of these on my car. It was there when I set off… but it wasn’t there when I arrived!

Try explaining that to the gendarmerie!
