4.0 out of 5 stars The ideal book for those looking to start a career in comedy
By Reviewer19 on 20 July 2020
As a fan of Lee Mack, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book which whilst crude in places (this is part of his humour) is incredibly interesting and varied. A large portion is dedicated to the years in which he spent searching for the right job/career and this is highly enjoyable and interesting, as well as a breath of fresh air from other autobiographies. The latter section focuses on his stand up career and provides great insight and motivation into this career and is ideal for those who are thinking of stand up. Lee Mack is honest and open and even if you don't want to be a comedian, it is certainly an enjoyable and worth while read!
