Yes, it's a parody of a cult book . . . but it's something more, too. Knight acknowledges the overwhelmingness of the modern world in a different way to many before her ― Guardian
Changed my life. To this day, I think about how it schooled me in the fine art of giving less f*cks about people (and party invites) who don't really matter to me, and saving my precious time and energy for those who do. I wasn't alone - the book became an international bestseller ― Vogue
My new saviour . . . hilarious ― Psychologies

A funny take on that very popular cleaning up book, but so much more. It's about taking care of yourself and not giving a f*ck what people think of your choices (but without being an a**hole). This book is kicking ass all over bestseller lists. Buy it. You won't be disappointed -- Jen Kirkman

The frequent use of the four-letter profanity added nothing but interruption and distraction. The 'advice" espoused by the author, Sarah Knight, was trite and underwhelming. You would find better wisdom from the bloke propping up the bar in your local late on a Saturday night.
So I recommend that "you spend your time, energy and money on the things that really matter" (to quote the author) and don't bother reading this book.
It's written light, easy to read, and interesting at the same time. Even all the fuxx don't change the fact that it is a good book

The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because the word F*** is used just SO much that it loses its impact. Initially it's a dangerous and exhilarating read, but by half-way through I found myself desperately craving fresh language. I totally back writers who swear/curse to get their point across to a modern audience, but this at times felt repetitive.
Saying that, I won't lose sleep over it, because I've decided not to give a F***. Great book. Highly recommended.
