It fits perfectly on him however its not crazy thick for winter so I still put a light blanket on him n socks. This is more suited to cold autumn nights, the stitching isn't great on the one I received however as it is already coming apart so I won't say quality is 100%. Anyway for now it would serve its purpose but won't be hurrying to buy another one.
It’s not very thick which I think is appropriate for a baby, especially if your baby is like mine and likes sleeping with their hands on their face. However it’s not completely thin either which I also like.
It has some amazing features such as detachable arms (which I didn’t realise until it arrived) and a second zip for mid-night changes so you don’t have to take off the whole suit.
The fabric used is nice and soft, perfect to keep a sleeping baby cosy.
I think this product is seriously underrated it’s made our lives much easier and I think if you’re considering buying one you defiantly should.
They feel just about thick enough and our 2 year old wears them on top of a long sleeve vest and pyjamas, in a 20-21 degree room.
The reason these don't get 5 stars is mainly because of the washing instructions. Expecting a parent of a young child or children to hand-wash, frankly anything, is taking the peas a little bit. We need something you can wash, spin, and tumble or dry during the little spare time we have. I didn't realise they were hand-wash only before I bought them. I decided to take a chance and machine wash them and they have survived, but the material has started bobbling significantly. One of them has also gone in the tumble dryer which i think has resulted in the zip coming away from the material so that one won't last much longer.
The other reason is that the legs ride up quite a bit so the calves are exposed most of the time. This design flaw needs looking at.
These were the more affordable option for wearable sleeping bags, but are perhaps false economy. I have 4 and they are still OK to wear after about 6 months but not sure they will last enough to be handed down to another child.
Pretty pointless to keep a baby warm if the whole front opens as soon as they move.
I also contacted the seller to express that the zip was weak and not fit for purpose a day or 2 after receiving it. Nearly 2 weeks in. No reply. Don't waste your money! Especially If you dont have it to waste. I dont and an now out off pocket and my child now has no warm sleep suit.
