I love these strips! as someone who suffers withs very debilitating migraines on a regular basis and takes prescription meds both daily (preventative) and during attacks (painkillers) i am frequently at my wits end with the pain and the disruption to everyday life. I'm not going to lie and say these strips have made everything ok (in my case that would be too much to ask) BUT these strips are really useful.

They provide an additional aid in fighting the migraine battle and one i won't be without again. I now buy these 3 packs at a time to make sure i never run out because they - somehow, i can't really explain it - help. sometimes a huge amount, sometimes just to take the edge off and allow me to sleep through the hours of misery. the intense cool sensation seems to dull the pain, seems to almost divert some pain receptors to focus on the sensation of the strip and always soothes - even when nothing else gives additional relief (the variation in effect is down to the different ape sod migraine i get, not the strip - they are completely consistent).

Not having to refrigerate them means they are always on hand in the bedroom (my migraines tend to start in the small hours), in my handbag - wherever you might need one. tear only the top of the pouch so you can roll it over to keep the second sheet fresh for use. This works very well. they are soft and shape easily to the contours of your forehead. and you don't have to fight with the pack to extract them. HIghly recommended and non-medical so great if you already take meds or, in my case for my son, who sometimes gets migraines too.

I had this banging migraine and unable to go to sleep so I decided I would try this out. It was definitely cold but didn't make the banging migraine go. It was nice and cold . I don't think it's suitable for migraines as It didn't go away. It was also quite comfortable, I was worried I was going to be sticky with the gel but nothing stuck at all.

I also don't like you get 2 in 1 packet I would prefer if everything was individual

I have been using these strips now for about ten years during migraine attacks. I find that the best approach is to combine these cooling strips with a darkened room and a simple eye mask. Recently I have also been using these strips on my forehead alongside white tiger balm on my temples and down my neck. This combination of cooling action is a really great distraction from the pain of a migraine headache, especially if I can get ahead of the pain just when the migraine aura starts. My only criticisms of these is strips is that a) they are quite pricey if you use them regularly, and b) they are wrapped in sachets of two strips- if there is a long interval between using the first and second strip, it does feel like they lose their cooling ability a little. Overall I would recommend trying these out as a part of your migraine management strategy.

I don't get the worst migraines in the world, but even the 'not worst' are still painful and unpleasant. These strips do look a little like you stuck a feminine hygiene product on your forehead (sexy...not!), but they work really well. I have found that they help me fall asleep, or during the day one of these and a 2 hour nap in a dark room clears the migraine away without needing to resort to painkillers.

As long as you are trying to get relief from migraine pain and aren't trying to be alluring, they are great!

I absolutely love these cooling strips, I suffer from a lot of neck pain and tension which frequently results in me getting headaches.

I've tried a couple of other brands in the past but I find Kool'n'Soothe work best for me as they stay in place better, are more cooling and refreshing than the others, they last for hours, and the main thing for me is that these strips are larger than the other brands as they cover the forehead and start to go right across to your temples and cover your whole forehead right down to your eyebrows.

The only downside of buying on Amazon is you'd probably find them cheaper in the shops but currently we're in lockdown so for a lot of people like me it's convenient to have them delivered.

Great relief for migraines.

There's nothing worse than the pounding of a migraine, pain that seems to stop you feeling like a human being and can last for hours. Both myself and my partner use these and have done for a good number of years. The coolness helps but you don't feel the benefit for eight hours as it claims on the box. We have both found that if you fall asleep with one on your head at night by morning it has dried out and started to shrink and shrivel on your head which means it can hurt to take these off. Have noticed how many you can order has gone down massively during lock down, you used to be able to order up to ten box's per order on subscribe and save with multiple orders per each month, but now you are limited to only three boxes per order and only three orders per each subscribe and save month. Also noticed more supermarkets selling these but all offers seemed to have stopped in the supermarkets. Great items to have on hand when a migraine hits.

After trying other brands of cooling strips I’ve now settled on these Kool ‘n’ Sooth strips as my go to each and evrytime. Not only are they amazing value for money (especially when they’re half price and only £1.50 a pack) but the cooling effect works instantly and lasts much longer than other brands (though not the 8 hours still longer than any other I’ve tried).

Within each pack you get 4 strips that are kept in two sealed bags. I do wish each strip has its only sealed bag so I could more easily take them out with me, but once the bag is opened the other strip still says sage as it has a plastic cover on the cooling side.

As soon as you place the strip you feel the coldness and it instantly helps the pain. It also seems to have a slight menthol effect that stings a tad (in a good way) and helps as well.

The initial coldness lasts a good couple of hours and after that it slowly fades but still helps for a few more hours after that.

If I use it quickly enough it can help kick the migraine down enough that the pain med can completely cover it, if I don’t get it on enough it helps it hurt less. I would say though that it dose not get rid of my migraines alone and I do still need meds as well, but it definitely helps.

Overall I can’t live without these now and they’re the first thing I grab at the start of every migraine. I’ve brought several packs now and will continue to do so and would definitely recommend them to everyone.

So helpful, especially if wanting to avoid medication to resolve or if only having recently taken medication for a headache or migraine and its not near the time for being able to take anymore. These help for every type, I generally suffer from migraines yet mine are often at the back of my head, these still completely or greatly reduce that. They work aswell as pain relief tablets.

Nice and cooling so instantly begins to relieve any temperature. The strips can be cut which is a good idea if using them when a high temp is present as they absorb the heat fast and can feel less cold than when applied. If the whole strip is used then I tend to remove it to let it cool a bit and reapply, this is really just when my temp is high, otherwise it can be left on as it remains nice and cool. As this provides a nice instant cooling and soothing natural effect it is my preferred pain management method. The gel strips aren't as appropriate if out anywhere as may look a bit odd!

The menthol scent can be detected which helps and the strips may feel a little strange for the first time but they are super easy to get used to. Easy to apply, literally remove a strip from the box, remove the clear protective covering from the blue gel side and stick the strip over the forehead with the blue gel underneath and the white material side on top.

These are the exact same as the in store ones, they have directions for use and I've found them personally to be very safe to use, they are not intended to be left on but I have on the odd occasion from falling asleep or generally being with a high temp and not had any problems however everyone is different so please follow the instructions and reccomendations given with this product.

They are not to be used again, these are disposable, I feel the box lasts as long as what a box of paracetamol will. I also think these are great with the paracetamol restrictions now in place. I don't get pain relief from prescriptions because it's cheaper to purchase from supermarkets and online, I prefer online as they stock better and this product hasn't a quantity limitation! I certainly prefer giving this over to someone than pills, especially children. I'm allergic to aspirin and other pain relief meds so always happy to use this far more natural yet as effective product instead.

I usedq to buy these in a store, but they stopped stocking them so finding them here was a bit of a god send. I suffer migraines on a pretty regular basis and found your classic ice in a bag with a teatowel wrapped around really wasn't cutting it. I tried these a few years ago and found they worked nicely and have continued to buy them since and now get them on subscribe and save (I get through a fair number of them a month so it made sense from a cost effective standpoint). These are self adhesive to skin, they have a very slight menthol scent and last several hours - only need replacing once they begin to dry out. My niece has also had the use of them when she's had fevers (she's 7). So, overall, I really like these and pray they don't stop selling anytime soon.

Small warning: Dispose of these properly, found entirely by accident that if these get wet and stay wet for any length of time, the menthol scent becomes pretty over powering and will cause eye watering and discomfort.

I first purchased this product a few months ago along with the 4Head cooling strips to see if they would help with my regular migraines. The Kool N Soothe strips were definitely the better product in terms of pain relief as the coolness lasts longer and the strips are large enough to cover my whole forehead. The only downside to these in my opinion are that the strips don't stick quite as well as the 4Head ones. The Kool N Soothe strips are still the superior product and I will be purchasing these again. Highly recommend to people who suffer regular headaches and migraines.

Gets to work instantly

These migraine patches work wonders for me and others I know that use them.
The cooling effect is instant and takes away a lot of my focus on my migraine which is a great relief.
I find these most effective when I put one across my forehead and then get straight into bed after also having taken migraine tablets if necessary.
After a good 30 minute to an hour sleep with one of these on my head, I wake up feeling a lot better and can barely notice my migraine.
I leave the strip on for the rest of the day until I can't feel the effects anymore, and by that time I've pretty much fully recovered.

Overall, I love these strips and I don't know how I would survive a migraine without them.
