I bought this principally for the air tubing and the elbow and tee joints. The joints are of reasonable quality and the tubing fits them firmly - it is easier to make the connection if the end of the tube is dipped into hot water for a moment or two to allow it to stretch, as it is a tight fit and it is very squishy to handle.
I did use one of the non-return valves, which works fine, but I have not had need of the screw valves or the airstones and so cannot vouch for those. Although I didn't need the suction cups for the project I was making, I did try them out of interest on some glass surfaces and they stick very strongly, so I would imagine they would be very useful in an aquarium setting.
The air tubing is extremely soft and pliable, and therefore rather prone to kinking, especially as it was squashed quite badly in the packing that it was shipped in and therefore arrived 'pre-kinked'. You might need to use more hot water to restore it to its proper shape prior to use.
