Brilliant fun

I bought this for my cousin because he loves football but isn’t so keen on playing in the rain! Since it’s now the cold, rainy weather season he would be less likely to go outside to play football. This is ideal for kicking about indoors, and is a lot less likely to damage things than a traditional football - no chance would he be allowed to be kicking one of them around the house!

These are a very good price - I have seen single units sell for the same price as this twin pack. Each hover ball takes 4 x AA batteries to power it’s fan - I was really surprised when it “took off” from the ground and hovered! It works exactly as expected - it hovers slightly above the ground and when kicked or nudged, it goes in the kicked direction and sort of hovers there.

Very impressive little bit of kit and has provided hours of entertainment so far! The batteries seem to last forever - we used it daily for around 2 weeks before the batteries needed swapped out.

This was a lot of fun for my two girls (10 and 6) until it broke for no apparent reason after less than 20 minutes of (not rough) play. The lights still work but the fan causing the ball to hover just stopped working. Maybe we just got a bad one but I cannot recommend based on our experience although, had it not broken so quickly, the product was good. It came as a set of two. The other one has already been given as a gift - I hope it lasts the recipient a bit longer than our one.

This is a great price as u get 2 hover footballs in the pack. They come individually packaged in a box each so u could easily split it into 2 separate gifts if u want to give to 2 children. They are good toys to use to keep your kids active and entertained indoors on any smooth surface like tiled or wooden floors or on short pile carpets. It will slide across the floor easily on the air filled cushion that goes under and around the central toy. The cushioned outer ring will protect your furniture from damage. If u put batteries into the toy it will light up with led lights for some cool effects especially if u use it in the dark. Its worth noting that it doesnt come with any batteries included so i'd advise buying some if u dont want your little ones to be disappointed if they receive it as a gift.

Great for idle moments when trapped indoors

These are great indoor fun for idle moments. You might be lucky enough to also have a smooth outdoor surface in your garden, otherwise they are definitely only for smooth indoor floors such as laminate and tiles. They won't scratch the floors as they hover slightly (although your children could scratch the floors whilst playing)!

They come really nicely boxed, very gift-worthy although be aware that you'll need your own batteries.

I didn't think they looked too robust at first, but they have lasted remarkably well with two children using them at the same time in a relatively small space. Inevitable knocks and bumps, but that's why they have bumpers on them. The flashing lights are also very nifty.

Both the children have really enjoyed playing with them and they've had laughter too. In these regrettable times of lock down that's exactly what they've needed when going stir-crazy indoors.

The longevity of play isn't great (bored after a few minutes) but they keep going back for a few minutes of silly fun, and that's what it's all about. The dog would love to play with them too...

These are a win win, they hover and are cushioned so don't mark mummy's furniture but still allow daddy and boy to play footy in the house.

The fact the light up at night time is just novelty. He absolutely loves his ball to pieces.

Even the girls want one now. Before this they were happy playing barbies.

I purchased these Hover Footballs as stocking fillers for my children. They were one of the cheapest presents and yet they seem to be using them all of the time. Simply insert the batteries, switch them on, place them on the floor and have a gentle kick-about for loads of fun. They gently bounce off of the kickboards of the kitchen cupboards and float on a cushion of air. Lots of fun for a very reasonable price.

I wouldn’t buy this again, was a waste of money.
Came as a set of two but they both broke within minutes. Considering that they are made for the purpose of indoor soccer/ football they are certainly not robust enough.
I thought it may have just been a faulty one at first but then after getting the second one out of the box and the same happened again, seems that they are just rubbish.
