Advance Praise for The Holiday Swap

"I love this book! It is deliciously fun and wildly romantic...and feels like Great British Bakeoff meets Gilmore Girls....I wanted to befriend the twins, throttle the villains, fall in love with the heroes--and bake up some sourdough.--Jennifer Robson, international bestselling author of Our Darkest Night

"The Holiday Swap dishes up a double dose of fun-loving, feel-good, Christmas cheer, with a recipe for love that's deliciously irresistible." - Karen Schaler, author of Finding Christmas

"I devoured this delightful romantic comedy in two nights. It's like Gilmore Girls meets The Parent Trap meets Cake Wars. In other words, it's perfect." --Colleen Oakley, USA Today bestselling author of You Were There Too

"The Holiday Swap is the cozy holiday rom-com you crave, complete with double the swoony meet-cutes, scrumptious desserts, and happily-ever-afters. With small-town gossip and reality-TV drama, Maggie Knox serves up a treat that will have foodie fiction fans begging for seconds. --Amy E. Reichert, author of The Kindred Spirits Supper Club

"This debut from Maggie Knox about twins who swap places for 12 days at Christmas is twice the fun, double the trouble and
all the feels. Warm cozy bakeries, cold snowy nights, holiday traditions and two-TWO!-romances to steal my heart--what's not to love? The smart, quick-paced writing, witty dialogue and swoon-worthy date scenes had me up all night, turning the pages to see what would happen next. I absolutely adored this book--and I can't wait for more rom-coms from Maggie Knox!" --Chantel Guertin, bestselling author of Instamom

5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect Christmassy read!
By Thereisalwaystimeforbooks on 8 January 2022
I love a twin swap book, but it can be tricky to do well. I really liked Charlie and Cass, and the story really gives cheesy Christmassy vibes which is exactly what I want for a December read! 🎄
There is drama, insta love and a HEA.

It did concern me that Charlie’s concussion was not taken seriously however. It just kept getting swept away and she ignored her doctors advice constantly. I don’t see how running a bakery is considered restful 🤨 I get the reason for the swap was because of the sense of smell disappearing, but she had serious symptoms that she kept ignoring and that is just so idiotic not to rest up to heal.

This book isn’t steamy, so if you prefer a bit of spice in your books this might not be for you. But if you are a Christmas book binger in December like me to get in the Christmassy mood, then this is for you 😊🎄

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit predictable
By Chloe on 12 March 2022
I'm sad to say that I feel I didn't do this book justice, it's a book that deserves for you to sit down and completely commit to it. So, reading it in what ever time you have to spare, like I had to, feels very disloyal.

This book is like reading a Hallmark movie. Slightly predictable but very feelgood.
