I bought this charger in October 2020 and it has never worked since day one. It sees the batteries but constantly shows “Err” with all batteries detected and flashing. I lost patience with it and put it away on shelf. My husband recently came across it and gave it another try. We tried both types of connection and different rechargeable batteries but the same Error message is present. We are baffled and a annoyed. Unfortunately any guarantee had expired before we retrieved it to try it again. I would not recommend this charger and am unable to give it any stars t all.

UPDATE: following my previous review the supplier got in touch and despite the guarantee period having expired, sent me a replacement charger which is now working perfectly, I have to say their customer service is second to none.

3 stars - the unit was faulty and I lost a battery due to problem. Suppliers - very good.
Half hour on USB charging, a nearly new Panasonic rechargeable battery (charging 4 together) over-heated causing the battery to fuse to the body of the charger.
After contact with the manufacturer (very helpful) I have been fully refunded. The offer of new charger was made but I had already been to shop to buy one.
The unit was faulty and I am really happy with the response from suppliers, they have been very helpul.
There are a few negative reviews, I would say contact suppliers - they will respond with help.

I bought this to reduce the need to have to constantly buy new batteries for Christmas lights and our LED candles - seemed reasonably priced. It worked well for the first few weeks but then, the far left compartment stopped working so I could only charge three batteries at a time.....I decided to send it back and have finally concluded that you get what you pay for. The USB-C connectivity was temperamental too - some cables worked, others didn't. Disappointing! Will stick with more well known brands in the future.

I had a bad experience with an old battery charger I had which took forever to charge with a very poorly charged batteries on end result. So I checked out the reviews on this charger and have to say, on buying two, they're brilliant and live up to the reviews. East to use, quickly charged and very neat and unobtrusive. Would highly recommend.

It's compact, tidy, very cheap! charges one battery or up to 4 batteries (but at a slower rate) and gives a charge indication for each battery. What more do you need? If it isn't fast enough for speed freaks then get a spare set of batteries kept fully charged to use while you charge the empties or like me buy 2 chargers and two sets of batteries. The HiQuick batteries are good also.

Just make sure that you use a 1 amp min usb supply for full performance. I had some old usb plugs from small dehumidifiers that do the job perfectly supplying 1.5 amps.

Previously I had an Eveready Pro thing that could not charge a single battery nor give an indication for each battery level and was more expensive and more difficult to remove the batteries plus heated them up and died after a few months so this one so far is much better hence why I am pleased & I have a spare.

Bpught this because it saves some weight in my luggage as compared to multi-voltage charger; i.e. no need to bring a mains cable or adaptor for UK, EU, US, AU diffeent plugs for different countries. Good this is that batteries could be charged one or more at a tine and removed when charged as and when they are ready without having to wait for all four to finish charging. Bad thing is that the charging takes much longer than any of the mains charger i have previously bought for travels. 4 stars scored.
