1.Gently squeeze the pump to force air out. |
2.Invert the flange, place on your breast with your nipple centred in the middle of the neck. |
3.Return the flange, slightly let the pump go until you begin to feel suction. |

I just wish I had got this pump from day one! As it would had been a massive help having a pump that would help removing the “excess” of very full boob those first days of breastfeeding when the electric pump it’s too hard and you don’t have many hands or energy, so want something simple and effective. I had bought the medela milk catcher for that and they did the work on catching the excess but not extracting anything out of them.It is so simple and easy to use and clean.It is great to get some milk out of a very full boob. I feel like it doesn’t work very well unless the boob is full, but for that moment I can get the electric pump out and it’s fine.I found it uncomfortable when if first started using it, but realised I wasn’t wearing it properly, watched a YouTube video on how to fit it and problem solved! It has a bit of a trick but nothing too hard!The picture is to show how much milk I can get out with this pump while my baby eats the other boob in the mornings

It is so simple and easy to use and clean.
It is great to get some milk out of a very full boob. I feel like it doesn’t work very well unless the boob is full, but for that moment I can get the electric pump out and it’s fine.
I found it uncomfortable when if first started using it, but realised I wasn’t wearing it properly, watched a YouTube video on how to fit it and problem solved! It has a bit of a trick but nothing too hard!
The picture is to show how much milk I can get out with this pump while my baby eats the other boob in the mornings

I was struggling with feeling engorged after using my electric pump, and feeling like my breasts were struggling to take the 2 hourly pumping.
After seeing someone else recommend this I decided to give it a go, and I am so glad I did.
The suction is great so I can Potter around the house doing jobs whilst this works its magic. I am 10 days post partum and I get approx 1oz from each side with the haakaa with no effort whatsoever, it's ridiculously easy to use.
Now I feel less engorged, I can go longer in between pumps from my electric breast pump, and there's much less pain and effort overall.
Would recommend this to absolutely everyone, such a simple item but one of the best things I've bought
