From the manufacturer

*This is the theoretical maximum speed of HUAWEI WiFi AX3. Actual speed may vary depending on the environment and devices.
Excellent performances
-
Take a Step Further with HUAWEI Wi-Fi 6 Plus
AX3 and Wi-Fi 6-enabled HUAWEI phones are the perfect pair because both are equipped with HUAWEI's self-developed Wi-Fi chipset, which support 160 MHz frequency bandwidth.
-
Signal Can Go Through One More Wall
The wireless signals can penetrate solid objects like walls and floors easily. This means that the phone will have good reception of the Wi-Fi signal, even when connecting from upstairs.
-
Usher in the Era of Wi-Fi 6
Wi-Fi 6 has made several improvements over Wi-Fi 5 to cope with the increasing demand for faster and more efficient Wi-Fi.

Fast Speed beyond Your Imagination
Thanks to 1024-QAM and 160 MHz frequency bandwidth, its theoretical speed can reach up to 3000 Mbps (574 Mbps on a 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mbps on a 5 GHz band). At such speed, what used to be taken for granted, like buffering and lagging, will be a thing of the past.

Multiple Connections, Smooth Connections
Unlike traditional routers, you can connect a multitude of devices to AX3 with greater efficiency. Supporting OFDMA multi-user technology, it is capable to send data to multiple devices simultaneously (max. 4 devices on 2.4 GHz, max. 16 devices on 5 GHz).

Larger Bandwidth with 160 MHz
As AX3 supports 160 MHz, when connecting AX3 to devices supporting 160 MHz, like top-of-the-line HUAWEI Wi-Fi 5-enabled smart phones, tablets and laptops, the internet speed would increase by 60% and more.

Stronger Signal with Dual Power Amplifiers
Easily handle Wi-Fi dead zones, boost weak connections, and enhance wireless coverage with 2 independent power amplifiers. Applies to both Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 devices.

Set up is easy via Web interface given under router or via the app you can download as described in manual and via NFC. For the first router I used the web interface via laptop and interface looks clean and easy to set up.
I have BT fibre to the home 900mbps package. Got rid of my BT hub2 and connected one of these routers after seeing it up directly to the BT ONT which is the big white box fixed to the wall by BT (they have 5 different types of ONT but that shouldn't matter and this router can be connected directly to the ONT eliminating the BT HUB2. Don't bother ringing BT to ask how to do it, they will not give you any information to use any other kit or even the username and password but you can get the generic username and password from BT forums using search feature) and enter that info into the Huawei in the appropriate section and then connect to the BT ONT device mounted on your wall where the fibre comes into the house. This way you can get rid of the BT HUB2. The procedure should be similar for Virgin as well with minor changes as the Virgin ONT isn't wall mounted as I have Virgin fibre directly installed at home previously.
You can use the NFC to launch the connection on your phone to the router for first time. Download the app given in manual. Please note before you try connecting to router via the Hi-Life app for the FIRST TIME you need to SWITCH OFF THE MOBILE DATA SIGNAL AND KEEP WIFI ON AND CONNECTED TO THE ROUTER or the app will have trouble finding the unregistered router. Once mobile data is off with wifi on it will detect the unregistered router and you register and update firmware and optimise WiFi channels etc easily. Anytime the WiFi speeds slow down later you can just one button press and optimise the WiFi in the app by eliminating channel interference. If you have several of these like me then you can create a mesh network painlessly. Set up for additional units is very simple. Just plug in the Ethernet cable from LAN output of the first router to WAN input of the new unregistered router and switch it on. All the settings will be automatically passed on to the new router. If using wireless then both routers need to be within 1 meter of each other I think during set up, you can use the H button on the routers, I didn't bother with this method and used the Ethernet cable provided instead. If using to repeat signal from other brands routers then it will just be a repeater and not mesh network.
It was cheaper buying another of this router to use with my desktop as my desktop has WiFi 5 card and this router is WiFi 6. WiFi 6 internal cards are atleast as expensive as the office I paid for this router. So I didn't bother with cards and bought another of this router and improved my mesh network and used the Ethernet to connect to 2nd router sat on my desktop on another floor of the house. The 3rd one I placed in another section of the house and all WiFi dead spots are now eliminated indoors and speed is much better than with BT hub2. Pointless paying additional £8 a month for extra discs from BT for whole home WiFi when you can have this WiFi 6 mesh network for cheaper instead using multiple Huawei AX3 routers. Please note the UK version called ax3 is quad core with NFC. Some international versions sold on eBay for cheaper might be the dual core one without NFC. Think the dual core and the Honour router of similar external looks and spec is lower spec and had 12 Watts charger and this has 24 Watts charger. Range and speed although similar is better on this quad core ax3, which might be exaggerated more when more equipment is connected to the routers and quad core should perform better in those scenarios.
Negative points no USB to connect external storage.
Only gigabit WAN and LAN but that's just nitpicking as this specs is awesome for the price. If you want faster Ethernet 2.4GB WAN ports then buy the Netgear Orbi RBK853 WiFi6 3 unit one for £900 if you have the money.
But this Huawei AX3 routers especially in mesh set up with multiple units is good value for money. Don't know the number of units limit for mesh networking though and whether it can be played with the 5g simcard Huawei mesh capable router launched with the AX3. Now sure if both can be used together one with fibre connection and other with 5g SIM on same mesh network as fail safe network with dual WAN input one from fibre and other via SIM card but that 5g router is about £390. Just mentioned the other option if it interests some.
The speed shown in photos are 960 down and 120 up on wired connection to laptop and about 450 to 550 down wireless and 120up wireless usually for me that's with a desktop and also 2 laptops and atleast 4 to 5 mobile connected to the network apart from sky boxes etc

Enable manual DNS to 1.1.1.1 on it and you can get around nowtv/sky website blocking of adult sites and bit torrent.
It looks great. It has NFC so you just tell guests to tap their Android phones on it and it auto connects. Bought for £45 on 11/Dec/2020
I have an old asus ac68u and the wireless reach is better than this and performance Is similar.
If you are going to use this in an open space like a small office then it may be ideal for you, especially if all devices are in clear line of sight of the HUAWEI AX3 and bandwidth usage is relatively low.
Speed Was Tested Using: File transfer to a wired LAN server and an internally hosted OpenSpeedTest server.
