This is actually a great little toy. Maybe a pound more expensive than it needs to be, but my 2.5 year old does love it. He has a couple of vehicles from the same lot, and thoroughly enjoys playing in the sand pit with them.
The truck does seem strong and robust. The construction is entirely plastic with the exception of a single screw that hold the cabin in place. This is good as it's going to get wet and dirty, and so it won't rust. It also means that you can rinse them off when they get covered in mud and sand. Recommended.
