So I was quite intrigued by these on Amazon.
Full disclosure, I acquired these to review for the Vine review program - but wanted to be sure I was getting the same quality of cards as everyone else… So I ordered 2x more packs out of my own pocket too for comparison.
Once all three orders arrived I took a detailed look through what I had received.
You get a small stack of around 50 cards wrapped and sealed securely within a transparent polybag.
I say around 50 because I counted the cards in each pack. 1 pack had 51 cards, the second 49 - the third had 53.
Most cards in each pack are actual pokemon cards with about a 1/5th or so being trainer cards. Each pack also included a small number of random energy cards.
All of the cards were authentic. The cards seem to be from various series. Mostly Sword & Shield and Sun and Moon series - but there were a few here and there from older series. One of the energy cards I received was actually from a WOTC 1999 issue.
Each pack also included at least a holo and reverse holo card. One pack included a full art pokemon with its trainer card! (Zekrom TG05/TG30 Brilliant Skies Promo card - seen in the video attached to this review)
What about duplicates you might be asking. Well, within each pack there were no duplicates. But when combined altogether- there were a few duplicates that 2 or more packs had in common.
Pokemon players and collectors reading this are probably begging to hear about the quality by now. Well most cards were in really good condition. They’re not going to be perfect, but if you want them to play with they’re perfect. Collectors will find a few cards will be a little faded and in some cases a little curled on the edge due to ageing and/or sun damage. But the vast majority were in near mint condition.
Will I buy more from this seller here on Amazon? Almost certainly.
