At this point in time, many people have played this game. It has sold over 160 million copies, so it's a well known entity.
It's still a very solid gaming experience, with an entertaining narrative and some moments that can shock or disturb, or both.
Graphically, if you play this on a PS5 or SeriesX, you're getting the best version of this game thanks to a combination of a higher resolution with excellent Anti-Aliasing, 60fps, Ray Traced shadows and greatly enhanced smoke and explosion effects. The PS5 also gets some fun controller functionality which actually adds to the immersion.
If you're tired of GTAV this won't change that. If you haven't played in a while and want to revisit the game, by all means get this.
If, somehow, you've never played this game, then this version is absolutely an essential purchase for you!
This game achieved so much that other games have unsuccessfully chased for years, and now it runs and looks the way it deserves.
